monday morning blahs
I forgot to turn the ringer on my phone on last night, which means my alarm didn’t go off this morning, which means I overslept and missed my first class. Whoops. And then I goofed again and forgot I had a free period after first class and showed up on campus way too early when I could have stayed home for another hour and a half.
This is not a good indication of how my day is going to go.
But, the free period is useful. I’ve got a list of stuff as long as my arm I need to be researching for my business plan. I’m combing over a couple of different options for my web portfolio, trying to decide on insurance, accounting, all that fun stuff. Blah.
And. I’ve have WAY too much coffee already this morning. I’m jittery and bouncing around like a bouncy thing.
I may have yet another photo shoot lined up. The soldiers in Aaron’s reenactment regiment want their portraits done in full costume and then aged to look period accurate. I told Aaron I could do that, and would in fact LOVE to do that, because it would be so much fun. He had a battle this weekend and I wish I could have gone and taken my camera because they had the full camp set up this time. The photos would have been awesome. Anyway, they just reelected a new captain for the unit so it’ll be a few weeks before they decide if they want the portraits or not.

A funny Chloe stories before I get back to work:
Mom and Dad bought a swingset to put at their house for when the kids are over. Saturday, after we put up the fence, they went home to work on putting it together. The kids and I went over later to see how the progress was coming, but we had to go back home before it was complete and ready to play on.
Chloe woke me up at six a.m. the next morning by jumping on the bed and yelling (at the top of her lungs), "MOMMY! Wake up! Time to go to Mamaw’s! My playground needs me!"
I was so cracked up at her I couldn’t even be annoyed that she woke me up two hours early.
Great news that you’ve got another shoot! Not great on the alarm thing. Hope it didn’t matter too much! xx
