Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, OD Land! I hope it’s a really great year for everyone.
Last New Year, in lieu of resolutions, I started my Mission 101 list. This year, I’m still working quite steadily on the list, and plan on beginning a few more items on it today, but I still don’t really have any typical resolutions. What I have are plans.
As in, I plan to "spring clean" my entire house, starting at one end and moving toward the other, beginning today. I’m going to organize, clean, scrub, sort and toss as I go in the hope that when I’m finished, I’ll be minus a lot of mess and clutter. To help me keep it that way, I’m jumping back on the FlyLady bandwagon. I was keeping up with it for awhile but after I started working, my domestic duties have really fallen by the wayside. It;s my goal to get back on track with a clean house and a meal plan this year.
I’m also starting my 365 today. It’s on my list, and I really NEED to do one because I’m losing a lot of the drive to create images, and I know that pulling something useful out of my camera every day will help with that. It will also be quite the challenge, as most days I won’t be able to take photos of anything other than what’s in the house. So it’ll be interesting to see what I can come up with. I had thought about doing "themes" for each month, but I’m not going to restrict myself. If I feel too tied down by the project, I’ll be tempted to give up, so I’m leaving it as open-ended as possible.
I really don’t feel pressured to make a bunch of plans or goals for this year, because I feel like we’ve already got so many great things in progress that asking for more would just overwhelm our lives. I’m graduating in March, Aaron finishes up his schooling the 31st of this month, he’ll be getting a great job, I’ve got some great marketing ideas in the works for my business…..not to mention that Aaron and I feel closer than we have in a long time, which is something that seemed nearly impossible a few months ago.
If life continues on this path throughout this year, then I’ll be happy. 🙂
happy new year! xx

Good luck with your project – remember it takes three weeks to turn anything into a habit…so if you can stick with it that long you’ll be right! 🙂
