Man, I’m a horrible OD’er lately!  I’ve been reading all of my faves, and noting occasionally, but I’ve just not been in the mood to write, probably because every time I sit down at my computer I’ve got 500 other things that need doing.  Or I’m multitasking at five other things I’ve got spread out on the kitchen table and I can’t spare the typing time. 

Like now, for instance, I’ve just straightened up the jewelry making supplies I’ve had strewn across the table for the past week.  I was invited to join a congo on Hyena Cart (a collection of different sellers under one shop name), and my first stocking is going to be on Cyber Monday (EEP!) so I’ve been rushing trying to get enough inventory together for that.  I’m pretty sure I’ve got enough stuff put together, now I’m getting ready to sort through it, price it, photograph it, and write the descriptions. 

I’ve also been busy washing every piece of clothing and bedding in the house because ALL THREE KIDS somehow ended up with head lice.  Just add that to the list of reasons why I’m choosing to homeschool – never having to comb Chloe’s long, thick, prone to tangling hair with a nit comb EVER AGAIN.  Worst three hours of my life to date, no exaggerating.  That girl has got a tin whistle scream that feels like hot pokers in my eardrums.  But, hopefully we’re in the clear now.  I still have a mountain of laundry to wash, but I’m being very careful to keep it separate from what’s already been washed, and lice don’t survive of the body for more than 24-48 hours anyway. 

Aaron leaves for school in three days.  Thankfully, Jacob will be spending Thanksgiving week with his mom, so that’s one less kid I’ll have during the transition.  I still don’t know how I’m going to manage juggling the work/kids/only parent at home thing.  Well, I guess I should say I don’t know where I’m going to find the time to do all the parenting stuff and still have time for my jewelry designing and photography, but we’ll see I guess. 

For now, I’ve got a spreadsheet to make and work clothes to wash.  Toodles!
