Ben had his two week weight check this morning: 9lbs, 4oz.    My little guy is working on a double chin.  The pedi showed me how to massage his tear ducts, as both of them are clogged.  I’ve been putting breastmilk in them, but that hasn’t been doing much to clear them out, so we’ll see if the massage helps, although the pedi did say it could be months before they clear out completely. 

We went to the grocery store last night, and oh, what an adventure that turned out to be!  Chloe got overheated and puked in the car.  Yum.  So we had to buy her another shirt when we got to Walmart.  And of course, I forgot to make a list, so I ended up just rambling around the store throwing random (mostly bad-for-me) food into the cart. 

BUT!  The entire time I was walking in the store I was also nursing Ben in the sling!  It was the first time I’ve ever done that, and I’m surprised he took to it, but he did, and it was SO easy once I figured out how to get him latched on and the sling around him properly.  So, yay!  Happy about that, for sure. 

Online classes opened today, and I’m already wondering where in the hell I’m going to get time for that, when I can’t even find the time to do the dishes.  lol.  It’s only the first week, and I’ve already got a list of homework as long as my arm. 

Well, Chloe and Aaron are heading home right now, so I’m going to get her bedtime gear ready.
