Twenty-four hours, a two-liter bottle of sprite, and half a dozen catnaps later, I’m feeling better. Thank goodness! I’m sore as hell, though. Feels like someone slammed me in the back with a sledgehammer. But I’m on the mend (and keeping down solid food!) and that’s all that matters. I did lose four pounds in the past two days, though.
Samantha’s wedding is in a week. (!!!) My rental lens is showing up on Wednesday, and I’m so excited to get it and try it out. If I love it (and I’m sure I will), then I will definitely be dropping the cash to buy one in the near future. First up is my 50mm, though, which I hope to purchase within the next two weeks. Big cheer for photography gear being tax deductable: woohoo! I’m also finally going to get my color calibrator, a bunch of other little things I need, and the biggie, my website.
AND once I get my website going, then I can finalize all of my marketing stuff like my business cards, flyers, etc. Fun. Yay!
I really need to clean my house. I’ve fallen SO behind on housekeeping lately that it’s not funny. I’ve been trying to sort through things to get rid of in the yard sale, and that’s going pretty well, but the general day to day housework has been nonexistent. So, I need to get caught up on all of that this week. I’m hoping that if I can get the house clean then I might be able to do a little painting next week. That would be nice.
Everyone but me is napping right now. Both kids are asleep, Aaron’s dozing off in his chair, and his nephew Michael (who stayed the night) is stretched out on the couch. Makes for some quiet time for me, but I can’t really do anything. Maybe I’ll just play some Age of Empires….
glad you are feelin better!!! what ever happened with Aarons son?

have fun with the lens!! I was going to buy a 50mm over the summer… but with moving house, new appliances for the new house and the fact we’ve just got a very scary £600 bill for the service on our 9 year old car, I think it may have to wait!! xx
