Operating Room

Dear diary:
I was in the operating room tonight as part of my clinical rotation. I saw a craniotomy (brain surgery) and a lobectomy (removed the right upper lobe of the lung).  It was really interesting and I didn’t pass out.  A funny note was that the head nurse kept introducing as a Med Student and then correct herself to say Nursing student. This seems to be a theme already in my 3 clinical days.
