E-Mail Story and Cardiac Arrest
Dear Diary:
A friend of mine from Second Life and I have started to e-mail each other a story. She is very much into being dominated and taken. Her online "master" is possessive and IMHO verbally abusive to her. As a result we are not permitted to roleplay online as he is very jealous of me. So we started to write a story that would incorporate our fantasies into it. I started the story and she adds some and then I add some… it’s been pretty exciting so far and she loves my writing and clamors for more. I think I need to copy and paste it here so I have a record of it in order.
School is moving along. My enthusiasm is less than last semester and I have gotten 84 on both tests without really studying. Clinical is going well. I go to work a cardiac arrest last week. I moved my way in and got to do CPR. Not like I haven’t done it before on the ambulance, but to watch the doctor and nurses run the code was very interesting and I’m glad that I was in there. What struck me odd was that the next night the girl, whose patient it was, didn’t want to come to clinical but the instructor told her to come in. Another girl was so upset she could not come in either. I still remember doing cpr and looking out the doorway to my classmates huddled around the nurses station looking at me with dumbfounded looks, mouthing the words "What are you doing in there?" I am sad for the man that passed away but I loved working the code. Some sort of emergency medicine is where it is at for me. No floor nursing for me. I’ll give credit to another classmate who came in and did cpr as well. She also didn’t come the next night to clinical and wonder how she is doing. After the code, we scattered to do out work and the code team went to our instructor to say how impressed they were with the "students" jumping in and doing cpr. My instructor was very happy with what we did.
Life at home sucks. The wife becomes more bitchy by the day so I continue to avoid her. Got to do some yard work this weekend but the mower is acting up and probably needs to go in for service. I just need to get one more cut out of it for the season.
Emergency medicine is stressful, but it always can use people who get pumped up by it instead of defeated or depressed by it. So I hope you do go into that instead of anything else. At some point I need to get certified civilian side so I can work for a hospital myself. Eventually, I suppose.
