Construction

Dear Diary:
The kids were always afraid of the basement. Scared to go down alone, etc.  Well, after my live in friend moved out, my daughter wants the work room fixed up into a bedroom. I had a guy in yesterday to give me an estimate for sheetrock, drop ceiling new doors, highhats and electrical work. While we are at it we are fixing up the laundry room as well. Regardless of the price, we are going ahead to do it. It needs to be done and it will be a bigger room for her.

I’m happy that we are finally starting to put money into the house to upgrade it. We did the electrical a few months ago and now the basement work.

After the basement is done (only 1/2 of it will have work done as the other half is already done) then I’ll clean the rest of the basement and do some other minor rearranging and such. Clean closets out. Then my son wants to move into my daughter’s old room, which is bigger than his. So that will need to be painted and cleaned.  I sense a domino affect happening. Let’s see if my wife can get off her ass and do what she needs to do.
