OD Theme of the Week

If you had to hang out with a group of girls or a group of boys, which would you pick? Why?

Well, let’s see now. It would depend on the girls and boys in question. How old are the girls and boys? Are they eight, eighteen, or eighty?

If they are children, I prefer boys; they are less scarily adult and Machiavellian than girls. If they are old people, I prefer boys; they tend to have more interesting stories than girls. If they are around my age or a bit younger or older, well, that raises another series of questions. Do the girls have dark hair, dusky skin, deep dark eyes and slightly exotic features, or if they are of Caucasian descent, do they have dark hair and porcelain skin and are they wearing dark eye makeup and are their eyes startlingly blue or green or gray within the liner? How are they clothed? Can I see any cleavage, and if not, to what extent does their clothing outline their mammary appendages? How are their bottoms situated; would one describe them as “built like a brick shithouse,” or, conversely, as possessing a “snooker-ball bum?” Are any of them walking around, and if so, in what manner do they wiggle? Has any of the girls professionally studied dance? Are the girls at all interested in engaging other girls in more than a purely social and conversational role? Are any of the girls wearing lace-up thigh-high leather boots, or dangling riding crops carelessly by the loop from their wrists? Are they not quite smiling with their lips, definitely smiling with their eyes, examining me as I approach them, one foot still poised to walk back to the group of boys I have been offered, shivering in the cool of their regard? When I step into their midst, will the girls casually surround me like circling panthers, their eyes lambent in the falling dark, not quite touching, not yet?

On the other hand, could one of the boys hold my jacket for a second? Thanks.

I had a diary on here when I was 15, and I used to get a lot more of it then, and I don’t reckon my writing was particularly different, though my living situation was a lot worse. I have no idea why people seem to think kids are less likely to be hurt. They’re far more likely to be. Post 16, when you can work and rent legally, any shit that you let them do to you

is your own fucking fault. That’s how I view it.
