This is going to be an anxious week

This week I should find out the results of my blood work. I doubt I have Lupus but it will be nice to have the doc tell me so. I should also find out if I go the job. The supervisor told me she would know in 1-2 weeks and this is the 2nd week. The only reason I feel I won’t get the job is b/c someone has a little more experience than I do. I know I’ve said that before but the interview went so well that I don’t know of any other reason why I wouldn’t get the job.
I had my yearly evaluation a few days ago and it was the best one I’ve ever had. They won’t have the merit raise information until later this month but if I get that other job it won’t matter b/c I’ll be making more than what I would make with the raise. I get excited at the thought of having an office instead of having to share a work space with several other people.
This week we also get our Christmas bonuses on top of our regular check. I only have a few more gifts to get and I’m done. I started early this year so it hasn’t been as bad as it normally is and I even got a couple of presents wrapped tonight.
Well, I guess I’d better throw the clothes in the dryer and get to bed. Hoping for good phone calls later…
