Week-End Stuff

Week-end-ish Stuff…

Saturday:
Didn’t get as far as working on the garb Saturday as I had planned. Did get most of Mum’s pattern cut out. I will get there though.

Talked to Todd…He’s still got his Big Boy job too. He says it’s not too bad, he’s getting use to the hours…So hopefully he won’t work himself to death.

Raya and I went to find her flip-flops to go with her garb…& went to Chinese.

Took my Jeep when we went [It got a front end alignment in the morning]…It seemed to be feeling much better. A little shake around 55-60, but Mum’s Jeep has a worse shake than that. So it seems it may all be good once more. *nods*

Went for a walk too after we got home. Walking is goods, very much goods.

Sunday:
The weekly trip in for the paper…As we didn’t need anything perishable from the store…Raya and I went for a drive. [We covered a bit of distance, even to Switzerland, and the needle never moved off the half-tank mark on the Jeep. *laughs* *grins*]
Took some seasonal roads, and a couple two-tracks. Had to back up down one of the two tracks…o.O Backing up is not my friend, but I don’t think I did too bad. *smiles*

Derrick was home from work when we got back from our drive, cooking dinner for the lot of us. He told me that Todd had said ‘Hi’ & even told him to wish me a Happy Mother’s Day. *blinkies* I wouldn’t of thought that he would of even thought about it. *smiles*

Todd called last night from work…Well he was off the clock, so it’s not like he was really working…He was letting one of the other people get some time is, as they have a long drive to work, and hadn’t even been there an hour before they would of been sent home. [They do that a lot. *kicks them* I know Derrick has gone in only to get sent home…It’s stupid…They need a better way of doing things…Anyway…] He was asking about when he could come hang out again…He’s got Tuesday and Wednesday off both B.C.P. & Thursday off at Big Boy. So hopefully somewhere along the lines during that time he’ll get over here.

He is suppose to call Tuesday and see about coming over then.

Monday…Tis today…So not much to write about at this point.
