Tis a lot of babbling going on.

*wanders around in circles*

School day went well…For the most part. Harley had a couple problems with a couple people, but they were fairly easily defused. Thankfully.
Instead of staying there for lunch I took him early and we went to McDonald’s. Sonja’s class went to McDonald’s today for a last day fieldtrip. I took Harley through the drive thru so he wouldn’t bother Sonja’s class.

I got a text from Wasil about 2:30 telling me that he got the okay to leave early…Tech. his vacation wasn’t suppose to start till the 5th…But since he got he okay, he headed out on the road at 3 PM.
Don’t expect to see him any earlier here though, as he has quite a few people I know he wants to see down state, and he knows I can’t leave any earlier than I’ve already set up…Which is actually a day earlier that originally planned.
Unfortantely that means he’s not going to be online tonight. *pouts* I’m not sure if he’s going to be online at all between now and when he gets here.

Other than that…Not much going on…

OMGs…Alba school has a beautiful field they could be putting to good use, and they aren’t. O.o
Their field day is a sad little thing in comparison to the end of the year picnics Boyne had for us in school.
This is how Harley’s field day went: Watch part of a movie they stared yesterday…Ran an obstacle course (so many in his class that they each got to run it only once, and a handful got to run it a second time)…Went and played with some outdoor toys (jumprope, giant ball, frisbees, stilits, etc)…Went for a ‘nature walk’ (which pretty much was a walk/run down a road where they were turned loose in aforementioned field to play for half an hour)…Came back to play 7UP & some other quiet in class-room game…Coloured a picture…Back to watch some more of the movie…Then lunch & out for the day.

When I was in school we would take a whole day for an end of the year picnic. We would go to one of the parks and play all kinds of games (We also got ribbons for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place): rely races, egg toss, distance races, bean bag toss…Just general fun outdoor kids games. We’d have lunch somewhere in the middle of it all…Plus they had a concession stand that sold candy & popcorn & cotton candy & snocones & all kinds of yummiful snacks! I do so miss those.

The field down the road from the school would be beyond perfect for this kind of activity!
I think I will have to make a picnic lunch sometime during the summer and take the Critters & Mum down there just to hang out and run around. [Kind of contemplated placing a letterbox, but I’ll need to scout out the area before knowing if there is a place for one.]

Need to get the Critters to decorate their duckies to turn them loose in the tubes and have our ducky race.

Today is the 3rd anniversary of Randy’s death. I put some flowers on his grave yesterday for Derrick, since he’s not up here to do it. Cussed him out for dying again, calling him and idiot and a moron. Aren’t I so nice. *slight smirk* Still…It’s the way of things.

I might have need to cuss out Mike as well…Apparently he’s babbling on about things he knows little about…Though I don’t know what’s being said.
I’ve been running a count down on Facebook for Wasil coming here, and Jon (Mike’s best friend since forever) made a comment on the day before yesterdays. Another girl from school had asked what the countdown was for, and asked where I was going. Then Jon made some comment about it being a road trip, and not just an ‘over due booty-call’.
I told him no, it was more than that, and asked him what he had heard. He said something about a gothic booty call. Only thing I can think of is Mike has come up with something in his head (the poor twisted thought must be so alone in that empty space…Anyway…) and it’s hard to tell what, and is passing whatever onto Jon. It’s just obnoxious more than anything, since I don’t know what is being said.
One would think he would have better things to do than talk about me & my whatever it is that it is. Then again, this is the same guy who tells me he thinks about me when he’s with his wife & goes on about would give almost anything for one more time, & blah, blah, blah. *rolls eyes*
Yeah…Seriously, I really do wonder why I ever try talking to him…I know how he is. I know by now he’s never going to change. He’s always going to be an idiot.

Okay…Enough of that…I’m hungry (I only had french fries when I took Harley to lunch) & Harley has mentioned the want of more food…So probably will have to do something with that too.
