The last few days, and stuffs

*attempts to think*

Mum & I went shopping…I think it was Saturday, I’m not entirely sure. I found a skirt for the first day of school [It’s black & white plaid. Tis cutes]. I picked up a shirt, which I’ve done some altering on. It started out a long-sleeved black shirt…Now it has ribbons that run up the bottom halves of the sleeves. Right now they are white, but it’s made so it can be interchangeable, I just need more different colors of ribbons.

I need to finish the corset I’ve been working on. It’s going to have the same set up where I can change ribbon colors on it.
I also need to get some material to make a corset for Sonja. She’s outgrown all of mine, and really wants one of her own.

Monday:
Took the Critters to Mackinaw. Stopped at the mill first, since I knew it closed early.
Crossed the bridge, went to the Garlyn zoo…The Critters much enjoyed themselves. I have videos I took & there are pictures…I need to do something about getting pictures up here.
We found a letterbox in St.Ignace, and another one in Mackinac City.
Unfortunately the lighthouse (which Harley was really wanting to see) and the fort on the mainland were already closed when we got back! After calming Harley down, told him my membership thing that lets us get into the places for ‘free’ is good until the end of October…& sometime between now and then, we will make it back up there while they are open. It’ll have to be a week-end thing most likely though…I’ll have school Mon.-Thur. starting next week…& The Critters go back to school the following week. At least I won’t have to worry about being home at 6 PM on Sundays, so we can have freer week-ends as far as that goes. [& The Critters are more than happy that they only have to go through one more week of dealing with their father.]

Today…*falls over* I’m bloody tired. *laughs*
We took the Critters to the fair today. We got there about quarter to 3, we left sometime after quarter after 7.
Everyone (Mum, the Critters & me) all rode some rides. Mum only rode a few, the one did too much to her stomach. *pats Mum on head*
I owe Sonja 2 energy drinks & a chocolate bar. *still feels a bit bad* She backed out of one ride with me, so I kind of pushed her to go on a different one with me. She told me she would do it it for an energy drink and a $1.00. I gave her the $1.00 while we were in line…Got on the ride…It was the Zipper…It went up high, and spun around, upside down a few times. She was near tears at one point, but I calmed her down & promised her another energy drink, (Which we have to go into town tomorrow to get them.) & get her a chocolate bar.

Saturday is the Comic Con. [Harley gets to miss two soccer games on Saturday, because this was planned in advance & they already had to miss NMACon because they weren’t here…Though they might get to go to a Cosplay event at F.Y.E. in September…It should be the week-end they are here.] I’ve got a layer of hair spray in my hair in the attempt to get it to have the proper build up to look like L’s come Saturday.

Which reminds me…Made Mum take a picture of me today…Hopefully it turned out. I wanted a new profile pic for a couple places. One of them is school related…We have to make a profile thing for Adolescence/Cultural Diversity, and there is a place for a picture. I had in a set of black & silver yarn hair falls today. [Which for informations sake…If you are wearing hair falls, in pig tails, the Gravatron is not the most friendly of rides for them.]

Oh yeah, we got to hold snakes at the fair! I didn’t realize how many native snakes we have! Harley held onto a little one, I’m not sure what kind it was. Me & Sonja took turns hanging onto a Blue Racer. It was a beautiful snake. Sonja wants a snake.

Anyway…Back to school stuff…I’ve started on my homework already. The first book for my online class is Monster: The Autobiography of an L.A. Gang Member. It’s not something I would of picked up on my own, but it’s not too hard to read, at least not at this point.

Gas checks came today! Yay! Money! So I can do a tiny bit of shopping. Though I have to spend wisely, even while playing. I want to get this cute little eye shadow set I seen the other day…& maybe a CD or two. [Sonja has already said I need to get us some more music.] I want to get the Death Note movies too…*pokes @ check* I don’t think it’s going to last long. *sigh* I kind of want to get some Halloween goodies too…& I think Sonja is going to be wanting to have another Halloween party this year from the sounds of it. [Halloween should make their one week-end at their father’s bearable…I’ll be able to get them for part of the Saturday since Halloween is my holiday.]

Speaking of Halloween…The costume ideas that had been picked out have changed now, of course. *falls over* Luckily Sonja has decided to make it easy on me, she’s going as Mello. Harley…He’s back to being undecided…& me…*shakes head* I would still really like to do Suki, but I don’t see it happening…So I haven’t a bloody clue as to what I’m going to be. Mum is even talking about dressing up this year! She hasn’t done that since the Halloween she worked at Lexamar and they all wore costumes to work.

Well…I think that’s it for the moment…*yawns* Tis past my bedtime. *falls over*
