The first half of the week…Mon-Wed.
Sunday:
Raya and I went to town to get the newspaper, and some cocoa from the grocery store…It took us over an hour to go and get back & we were never more than 15 miles from home. *laughs* Went and got the stuff from Glen’s, then had to stop and get gas. Raya went in and go hot fries for herself, and bbq chips for me…We decided to go for a tiny ride, then decided that we needed drinks to go with our snacks…So we went to Bellaire to get drinks…Then we decided to take the scenic way home. *grins* The one road we were going to take we decided better…It’s not plowed by the road commision, and it was beginning to look a bit iffy when we were on it.
Monday:
Got my English essay back. *sigh* 68//100…I have to revise…No getting out of it. Blah…I really don’t like my English teacher much.
My cups are done…He hasn’t graded them yet though…He’s suppose to grade them Wednesday. He showed us how to throw stuff on the wheel…Our next project we have to make ten things on the wheel, then use at least eight of them to make something out of…Like sculputre, or a set, or something. *shrugs*
My complex shape project is in the kiln…It should be unloaded by Wednesday…Then I’ll just need to glaze it.
Reese came over…Chaos ensued! *laughs*
Tuesday:
Well…Things started out fairly well…But before the night was over, or the evening had really begun, it was a mess. *sigh*
Apparently Harley had hit someone at school Monday…But no one bothered to tell me (heck the teacher didn’t even know when I was at the school in the morning!)…Then he bit someone today. Well they called home, but I was at school. They talked to Raya (and Raya called me to pass on the message), and said he was suspended for Wednesday, but didn’t say anything about anyone needing to go get him. Apparently they called Dan to come and get him…Or he was in the office when he got to the school to pick up Ann’s kids (I’m still not quite sure how that worked…After thinking about how he said what he did on the phone last night, I’m thinking it was the later.). So Dan took Harley from the school, and took him back to his house…Then proceeded to tell anyone he talked to (which I wasn’t among that list of people), that he was keeping Harley overnight. He got into it with my Mum on the phone, telling her that she wasn’t Harley’s parent, so she didn’t have any say, and that he wasn’t going to talk to her anymore.
After I got out of school, and was almost home, I called Ann [Dan’s live-in girlfriend], and told her I was going to pick up Harley. She said ‘No’, and that Dan told her to call the cops if I showed up. Well when I got home I called the cops myself…Which served no bloody purpose in the long run. Since the wording is so vague in the divorce papers over how custody/visitation is suppose to go, they couldn’t do anything about it…Depsite the fact that it says I am the one who has physical custody of them!
So I had leave Harley at Dan’s all night…He’s suppose to bring him back at 2:30 PM on Wednesday. He says he wanted him to punish him for misbehaving at school. So he was having him write lines, and do chores. [I wonder if he even has a clue that the way he does things, Harley is going to associate his house with punishment…And who wants to go somewhere like that…Heck, Sonja was saying last night she doesn’t want to go to her dad’s house at all…Then again, she’s been saying that for quite a while now. I hate making her go…I need to talk to Friend of the Court.]
—One of the things Dan said to my Mum was that I should of been at home ‘Where I belong’ to take care of the kids. [Gee…1) The kids were suppose to be in school…2) He’s really one to talk, since he works nights, so he wasn’t even going to be home when he was having Harley there to ‘punish him’ (So it was really Ann in charge of what was going on while Harley was there).]
Reese said I actually scared her, and that is no easy feat, I’m sure…& James offered his assistance in doing away with the problem.
Wednesday:
*is skipping school today* I was hoping to get something accomplished in my absence from school, but apparently that’s not going to be the case. I have a call into my case worker at Friend of the Court, but I haven’t heard back from her. I don’t know if she’ll get the voice mail or not…I called the T.C. office, and she’s in the Bellaire office today…But she should still be able to check her voice mail from elsewhere, shouldn’t she???
I need to find out 1) How to get the visitation agreement ‘written in stone’ so Dan can’t pull this bullshit again…And 2) Find out how old the kids have to be to decide that they don’t want to go to his house anymore, and be able to do something about it. What I’ve heard so far is that it’s dependent from case to case. Sonja is a very smart, and occasionaly articulate girl (when she’s not answering as a cat), and if they talked to her, I’m sure they could see that she knows what she wants, and how she feels, and that she’s bright enough to make a choice. Granted, I’m sure Dan wouldn’t like it (but I really don’t care what he likes or not), and I hate the thought of having to send Harley there on his own, without his sister to look out for him. *sigh*
Well…Still haven’t heard back from Friend of the Court, so taking the day off was pretty much wasted…But, at least that way I was here when stupid brought Harley back home where he belongs. *huggles Harley tightly*
About the first thing out of Harley’s mouth was calling out to find out where Derrick was at, so he could run off and tackle him…Sure Dan really appreciated that. *smirks* It’s really his own bloody fault. If he was any kind of a real father, then Harley wouldn’t feel the need to latch on to any male that walks through the door and shows him even a bit of attention. [He’d be like that with Loren to I’m sure, after all, whenever Loren showed up to plow, he’d be right at the window to watch, and hoping he’d come in. And if Loren did come in, Harley would be right up to him looking for attention. Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if that wasn’t one of the reasons that Dan and Loren don’t hang out as much anymore…I’m sure whenever Dan took the kids to Loren’s that Harley was overly excited to see Loren, and Loren actually interacted with him!]
Anyway…Got Raya put on the ‘able to pick up’ list at the school, & got our cell phones updated…So, if there is any more trouble, Derrick can take her in to pick up whichever Critter is in need.
*huggles sissy* She saved me from the evil hiccups! I’d had them for over an hour, and they were trying to assassinate me…She scared them aways!
*seems like I’m forgetting something*
*shrugs* Oh wells…I have a couple of surveys waiting in the wings, but as this is probably tre’ long to begin with…Those will just have to wait.
Sunday’s road trip was much fun! *nods* Hehehe. Yay for chaos! *kicks Dan repeatedly* He’s an effing moron! Not to bring up unpleasantries, but…remember how Harley latched onto to Bill, too? So, yeah, Dan needs to step it up, or neither of his kids are going to care much for him. *HUGS for Sissy* ♥
