Somehow managing to keep up with NoJoMo

It was a day…

When I was leaving Abnormal Psych the teacher stopped me in the hall to ask if I had my artifact done, and tell me for the second time that day that I do ‘awesome’ work. I didn’t realize until I got home today that he’d written on my artifact from the last week that he’d like to keep it. I’m torn…But I think I’ll make a photocopy of it, and then let him have it, feels kind of good to have the teacher actually want to keep one of the artifacts I made. He also asked me what I was going to school for, and what my gradepoint average is…Then said if I was still at NMC next year I should go for, I think he called it a Social Science Scholarship they have there. He told me when the time comes to come see him and he’d help with the paperwork. It was something I really  needed at that point…

Everything was kind of getting to me after a while today, and I didn’t have anyone to talk to at school.
During break I was cleaning up some of the stuff in Appa and found a lego man that Harley had lost Thursday…It made me feel better too…It was like he was saying ‘Hi’ to me, and letting me know that everything would be okay.

When I cleaned Harley’s room I got rid of his helocopter because the propeller had broken off…He realized before I left for school! Oops. But he gave me his birthday money, and I told him I’d go and check out Wal*Mart during my break to find a replacement. I didn’t think I was going to find one, but I finally did. It wasn’t quite as ‘fancy’ as his old one…It had buttons and made noise, this one doesn’t, but Harley was quite happy with it. *smiles*

I messaged Sandy (Dan’s oldest sister) on Facebook to tell her that Harley was wondering if Izzy (her daughter) might want his megablock Legos, since he plays with the little ones now. I do have alteriour (sp) motives for that one too. I want to make sure she knows what’s right and what’s not. Plus, it gets the giant Legos out of the house, one less thing to worry about…Though they really don’t take up much space.

I realized today that I have two essays due in Detective Fiction Monday…Neither of them the Creative Writing piece which I thought was due next week. *headdesk* I haven’t even looked at the book that the one is on, and the other is my critque of Another Note…Which I had planned to reread before trying to write about it, but don’t see that happening now. Blah. I might see about an extension….I know Melissa still hadn’t turned in the first essay as of last Wednesday.

Sonja made herself a sleep pillow tonight…She’s so adorable. She went in my room initally to get herbs to make tea, but got pawing through them, and looking at the one booklet in there, and decided to make a sleep pillow, and got sidetracked from the tea.

Head hurts…I was going to get tea when Sonja did, but as she never got to the tea, so neither did I.

*points to last entry* I don’t understand how someone can e that stupid and pigfaced and an assortment of other, much meaner descriptions. That boy is due for a serious bad karma hurricane. Hurray for the abnormal psych teacher liking your work. It’s gotta be nice to hear something like that.
