Schoolness…& whatever

Turned in my first module for Children’s Lit. tonight…I forgot to italicise the titles…Realized this after I sent it. *shrugs* Oh well. Thus far doing fairly well in that class I believe. Only need to find 4 picture books for the next module…I need 3 that feature child protagonists from an ethnic group that is not as frequently represented in children’s books. & 1 that features a child with some kind of special need or exceptional behavior.

We had a group quiz in Brit. Lit. Wednesday…I hope my group didn’t think I wasn’t contributing…I tried…Twelth Night has me totally lost. I need to find/watch She’s The Man…Then maybe it would make a tiny bit of sense. I don’t contribute much in class…Thus far I can’t follow for the most part. *sigh* My other quiz grade was so-so…

Macroeconomics…Still didn’t get the book…Don’t plan on it, as I really don’t think it would help me at all. The wording in his questions on his quizzes gets confusing, and I think that’s my downfall…Reading the book wouldn’t help that any. I got 14/20 on the first quiz for it…Which means thus far I’m getting a 2.0. *shrugs* It’s passing, that’s all I NEED. Am I happy with it..Not really, but if it’s what I end up with, I’m not going to complain.

French. Egads. I bombed the quiz we had Tuesday. Again I’m thankful he’s going to get rid of the worse two. I think I did much better on the quiz today. I got 114/120 on the chapter test…That’s pretty good I think. I need to sit down and figure out how to study to get the words in my head.

Took Poppet to school with me the last two days. He’s good company. Thinking I did a better job in making him than I realized…He was made in love & filled with love…& I think it actually comes across.

Sonja is showing empathic inklings. Doesn’t really surprise me…She’s got that same sense of ‘knowing’ when someone is just ‘not right’ that I have. [Which unfortunately doesn’t usually work when involving oneself.] Apparently at school the other day she got this unsettled feeling, like something was wrong, moments later a fight broke out in the gym. She said once things had settled down after the fight she went back to feeling what passes as normal for her.

I should work on getting a head start on Children’s Lit stuff…We have a couple days ‘off’…But better to stay ahead than fall behind and have to make sure everything gets done last minute again. Won’t get to it tonight tho…Even knowing I should…

Okays…Wasil has managed to find his way to online & unbusyness…So I will wander off to my favorite distraction.
