[RPG] Magic Carpet Ride

[For the extent of this entry, this diary has been hijacked by Sirius Black!]

[Read Peter Pettigrew first]

Not wanting to be shown up ever, least of all by Wormtail of all people, Sirius decided he too would try his hand at this karaoke game. Flipping through the book of songs that he was presented with, a smirk crept upon his lips, a gleam in his grey eyes, when he found a particular song. Nodding to the DJ, the wizard took the mic, then took his place up on the stage.

The beginning strains of the song began, in the audiance Raven rolled her eyes, recognizing it as being the song that she had ended up dancing to with the younger Sirius, while Raya and she were in the past.

I like to dream yes, yes, right between the sound machine

On a cloud of sound I drift in the night

Any place it goes is right

Goes far, flies near, to the stars away from here

Grinning like the perverbal cat who at the canary, the man settled his eyes on Raven. The purple haired witch rolled her eyes once more, leaning back in her seat. A frown was deeply entrenched upon Peter’s lips, he too remembering well enough that evening, a fresh memory in his mind.

Well, you don’t know what we can find

Why don’t you come with me little girl

On a magic carpet ride

You don’t know what we can see

Why don’t you tell your dreams to me

Fantasy will set you free

Close your eyes girl

Look inside girl

Let the sound take you away

“Does he always have to act like this?” Raven hissed slightly, to where her uncle was seated.

The werewolf raised a brow, “you have to ask? Thought you had that one figured out already Penguin.” With a bit of a sigh, the witch nodded, knowing full well she needn’t of asked the question, as she already knew the answer.

Last night I held Aladdin’s lamp

And so I wished that I could stay

Before the thing could answer me

Well, someone came and took the lamp away

I looked around, a lousy candle’s all I found

Sirius did his best to make a show of himself while on stage, garnering quite a bit of attention from many of the females in the audience. Once more, as the refrain came up, he turned his attention towards Raven, knowing full well it would agravate not only her, but Peter as well.

Well, you don’t know what we can find

Why don’t you come with me little girl

On a magic carpet ride

Well, you don’t know what we can see

Why don’t you tell your dreams to me

Fantasy will set you free

Close your eyes girl

Look inside girl

Let the sound take you away

Tossing the mic back to the DJ, the wizard jumped off the stage, walking around the table to return to his place. “Well doll, what did you think?”

“I think, you’re a prat, and Peter did a better job with his song.” A smirk snaked across the witch’s lips.

Who knew you could sing? *slight smirk* *giggles* I think it would have been better received had you not blatantly tried showing up our dear Peter. *narrows eyes slightly* ~ Raya
