NoJoMo: Vingt-Deux

French: Wasn’t too terribly trying today. There were only four of us in class. He had decided we’d just kind of review everything we’d learned this semester. He had a list of things wrote on the board, and told us he had initially going to be breaking us into small groups, and having us write a conversation, and then read the conversation for the class. Well…As their was only four of us, we all became one group, and not much actually got written down, but we talked out the conversation and it was declared that that was good enough.

This, on top of class not starting, probably, about 20 minutes late. He was talking to Juliette at the beginning of that even, about her presentation. [Juliette is German, though wouldn’t know it to hear her talk…I think she’s been over here a good portion of her life. She’s married to a French guy, and they go to France occasionally, so that is why she’s taking the class. Sonja adores her, even having only met her once. *laughs* ANYWAY…] While they were talking, Brooke (whose name I just learned today) asked me what I was going to school for, and that led to brief mention of needing to find a place that will accept my hair, and the fact that it might be a ‘normal’ color for a bit & why…Which got us onto a discussion about Hetalia and how it has small history lessons in it, and how usually history bores me to tears…But I’ve actually learned something from the cartoon! *laughs* [*prepares to duck & run from anything Sissy might have in mind* Hehehe] That also led to the fact that her husband knows a lot more about a certain period in time due to reading graphic novels that depict that time and what was happening, history wise, then. Which brought up the whole thought that there needs to be alternative methods of teaching things to students, things that will pique their interest in learning, and they would do better than they do.
We covered a lot in just a little bit of time. *laughs*

Plus…1.) We declared that we should end class early…As we pretty much accomplished the goal, & the others had things they wanted to get done.
& 2.) For the last bit we were there, we had dropped French and we were talking about Juliette’s plans starting tomorrow & all the good deeds she does…Not quite like that, but something. She wanted to leave early as she needed to go and get a second turkey for the dinner she’s cooking tomorrow…Which she is cooking for a community center kind of place that helps out the homeless & mentally ill. Apparently during the summer on Fridays there is a place that they set up meals for the homeless & mentally ill that she helps at as well.

I feel nauseous…Pretty much have felt that way all day…Quite tired of it.
Hopefully this passes quickly. I have two papers to work on this week-end…Scratch that…Three (as the presentation is going to have to be written out as well).
Still haven’t gotten the things I needed printed out printed…As there were classes in both computer labs today after class.
Still need to get FA taken care of…Hopefully I don’t forget that tomorrow & there is someone in the office. I need to get the reading of the children’s books done for math too. Ug…Only 3 more weeks to go…Where did this semester go? *looks around* For that matter…Where did this year go? How can it be the end of November already?
