NoJoMo: Seize

Actually did something that wasn’t busy work in math today…Which was better than driving all that way for busy work. Test is Friday…I only have, I think, 3 more problems to do on my portfolio. I figured the one out, the complicated, long, obnoxious way…Then realized how to do it the easy way. *headdesk* But it’s done, that’s all that matters. I had one of the girls in class show me how to do the hundreds board problem…So hopefully she was right & then mine will be right. The one guy gave me an angle on the one other problem to think about…So we will see how it goes.

French…Ug…Test tomorrow. I just did part of the homework in the workbook that I hadn’t managed to do before…Still have a couple more places I should do…Not sure if I’m going to manage it tho. It’s just so time consuming, and my head has already hurt pretty much all day. But, I did get answers for the possible questions he’ll be asking…So that’s something.

English…Thanks to Raya I have a direction…Now if I can actually pull it off…My brain started to formulate an introduction earlier today…But, of course, I was driving and couldn’t actually write it, so I didn’t get to keep it….It’s somewhere in the depths of my mind, I suppose.

This week-end…I NEED to get started on BOTH my English paper & my French presentation.

Seems like there should be something else to include here… But I can’t for the life of me think of what it would be.

When I wrote ‘This week-end’…My brain went "Ce week-end" & when I wrote ‘here’…My brain went "ici"…So apparently, French is sticking in there somewhere. *shrugs* Stupid language, only showing up when it wants to, not when I need it to. *pokes @ it with [avec] sticks*

I wish you well in your studies & good luck on your tests. I remember after living in French culture for 3 whole months returning to English was hard – so much so that even 3 – 4 years later I would throw in a French word into my sentence if/when I forgot the English. At least here French is one of our two official languages.
