Mostly about my Friday.

My Friday…
At one point I told Todd I was going to get him a Rubix’s Cube for Christmas. *laughs* He found mine and decided to try and put it back in the right order. He even had me get on the computer and try and find something that would tell him how to do it. Found a video that started with how to do it the ‘Cheater’s Way’, which amounted to popping it apart and putting it back together. He ended up doing that two or three times to get it back to how it’s suppose to be. *laughs* *shakes head* It was just funny though, watching him fighting with the thing.

He wanted to get his Blazer from Chuck’s…I think he hates leaving it there. So I took him back in the direction of home. We stopped at the Halloween store and wandered around a bit. Then went back to his house after picking up his Blazer…

I have come to a conclusion…I can never cook for him. There is no bloody way that I can make anything that taste better than his cooking. OMGs! He made us dinner last night…It was one of those, peek in the cupboards/freezer, see what was on hand, toss it together kind of things…But he does that so much better than me. [& I’m usually fairly confident in my cooking skills. *laughs*] He made us some steaks, and they were soooo yummie, as well as this noodle stuff that started out as spagetti noodles, and was better than any of the stuff I get out of the boxes I get at the store. There was also some really delious potatoes, and broccoli with cheese on it. All the food was just soooo good.

Anyways…
I got an idea from 2-D design. We did this assignment a couple weeks ago…We had to take 2 shapes found in nature. I picked a tree without leaves, and leaves. [Thought the two went well together. *laughs*] And we had to put them in our format, with straight & curvy lines, and what not…All black and white. Well the one that I made, made me think that it would be a really good Halloween card. Now I’m trying to figure out how to make a series of cards.
Not sure how to do it completely though…Originally I had the thought of creating a design, scanning it into the computer, then printing it off that way. Which, admittedly, would be the quickest, and probably the easiest way of doing it. But…I had another thought too…It would involve constructing each card one by one, as the individual pieces that make up the design would be glued on the face of the card…Giving it one of those textured designs. I kind of like the idea of the second one…Even if I know it’d be a lot more work…& I would have to make sure to get a glue/adhesive that would be sure to hold VERY, VERY well. Though I’m sure they have to make them.

*yawns* I think that’s about it for now.

I think when my sister was little she peeled off all the stickers and rearranged them correctly. My dad is the only person I know who can do a rubik’s cube. And now I want steak. I should not read about food when I’m about to go grocery shopping.
