More words from me…
Let’s see…Sonja home & gone again. Both Critters had moments of near tears & expressing that they didn’t want to go to their father’s. Sonja, while sitting in Appa in the driveway at her fathers. Poor Critters. *hugs them both tightly*
I do believe Sonja enjoyed her 3 weeks at camp. She was running around all spaztastic when we got there. Apparently she was ‘the Wakonda baby’…As she was the youngest in the group.
Chili, an old timer from the camp, was telling stories of her days, way back when. Apparently Wakonda had a special hiding place that the girls would go, but it’s been lost to history. So…For Christmas in July, the Pi (Pioneer) girls got together and made Wakonda a replacement for the missing place. So now, (& I can’t remember what the name of the place is) Wakonda have their own little corner, aside from their camp site (although right next to it), to hang out. It has 3 hammocks, and a boardwalk…& Sonja was all kinds of excited by it.
She was also excited about her tents ’4th roommate’ for the last 2 weeks. She named him Bartemius, despite the other names the girls in the tent were offering up. I love knowing a tent full of girls can be content & happy to have a bat sleeping under the same roof as them. *grins*
We were suppose to go to the carnival Sunday, but it didn’t happen…One reason being Mum said the rides were pretty sad this year…Secondly, the money earmarked for ticket/bracelets ending up going to replace Sonja’s phone…Again. *headdesk* Apparently Poochie missed her quite a lot, as she peed on her as soon as she picked her up. Sonja had discarded her shorts & I was gathering up things to wash (since I knew I had a million loads ahead of me)…I didn’t realize she’d had her phone in her pocket…Into the washer it went. When she told me, we raced for the washer…Half of her shorts were still dry…Half of them submerged in water…Of course, per usual, the phone was in the pocket of the half that was submerged. So typical.
Speaking of typical…Have I mentioned that the Cedar River Letterbox is missing, for the 3rd time? I’m sure I probably have. Well, add to that that Midnight Fey’s Challenge Letterbox is now missing as well! *growls*
The other 3 are still safe & sound, thankfully…& have been checked on within the last couple days even. (Well, aside from Tilted Tree, but as I got a message this morning that it was found yesterday, I know it’s still there.)
Instead of going to the carnival, we went to get Sonja’s replacement phone, and had plans to stop to check out a box. Mum had forgotten the clues, as she had it for special recon info…So we had to go back to the house to get it. When we got back and were getting out of Appa in front of the park, her comes this other woman…She was a Letterboxer too! So…The Nightwalkers (Midnight Fey, Fern of Cat Clan, Wood Elf, and Shadow) met Angelwinks, while out hunting for The Coons, planted by Ezmeralda.
Speaking of Ezmeralda…Her identify has been cracked! Using clues she had placed within her clues, & with the help of Mum & her Coon connections, we have figured out her identity, and know, more or less, who she is. My Mum actually talked to her mom not too long ago (although prior to us figuring out the last details). I feel all Detective. *laughs*
Still have to find out koalacat’s identity now…As the two of them are cousins, it’s a necessity. *nods* & they are 2nd cousins to the Terry that hogs all of Mum’s time.
I want to get more boxes planted…& want to go find more boxes. [Harley is being a bit slow to want to go…I think it gets boring for him sometimes.]
Anyway…After finding the box, we went for a ride through the Jordan, checked on the box that is there…Hiked through the camp ground area they have up there. Sonja wanted to camp there last night…Kept telling her she couldn’t, she had to go to her fathers.
We really do need to go camping sometime soons.
I got my paper done for tomorrow…Yay! Last paper for the semester. Last class for the semester tomorrow! WooHoo! 3 weeks off! *does a happy dance* It’ll be so nice not to have to think about school work for even a tiny bit.
yay for having the girl home! that is funny you found that other letterboxer, that is just so cool!

The cabin at one of oue parks has a bat…actually a whole bunch of them, but only one that comes into the living part of the cabin. My coworker and I had to switch rooms because she was so scared of it. Hurray for last paper.

Doggie pee… fun. *not* Replacing cell phone… fun and cheap. *not* This letterboxing thing sounds really cool and really fun. I wonder if there are any around my area… Sounds like something I could get into – if I had the time! Side note: I almost didn’t know who you were because you changed your name here… until I saw the *awesome* picture of youbeside it. Loving on the purple hair & Hello Kitty!
