Another French quiz tomorrow…I should be studying for it…But I’m not sure what I should be studying. O.o
I think we have a quiz Monday in Brit Lit. I have to read the story for it yet…It’s open book though, so that shouldn’t be too bad.
I really need to do some work on the module for Children’s Lit. I wrote out Title, Author, Illustrator, Publisher & Date down for the ones I have on hand. I need to delve into the reviewing part…Should probably get a start on the book that we have to read next to…Just not thrilled with the idea…I’m not even sure which one is next, will have to look it up.
Macroeconomics…I need to rewrite my notes. Currently I’m taking notes on the handout he gave us. I’ll transfer them to the notebook as a form of ‘studying’. I think we’ve got another chapter and a half to go over before we have anything that looks like a quiz.
Hmmm…I got an e-mail from the college saying I qualify to do an Honor’s contract. Which yeah, I should of been expecting…But I don’t see me doing it (yet again). There is NO WAY I could do it for French. I wouldn’t want to do it for Macroeconomics…That leaves my two Lit. classes…& I don’t see there being anything I could really do for either one of them either. *shrugs*
There is a Final Project required for Brit. Lit. In the syllabus is says it "will require writing at length about some aspect of British Literature." If I am remembering correctly, he said there was the potential for doing something creative, rather than just a typical paper. I would prefer something creative to a typical paper. He handed out a folk song from the 70’s based on (I believe) a poem from ‘ancient’ British Lit….I had been thinking about possibly expanding on it for my project. We went over the poem Lanval by Marie De France, and discussed the ‘gaps’ that are in it. So the ‘filling in the gaps’ has become another potential creative final project. *shrugs* Those of course would only work if I could get my ability to write working (as would something else I’m contemplating would require). [Makes me wonder if I did chose to ‘fill in the blanks’ on Lanval if that would possibly be Honor contract worthy…Tho the thought of making such a commitment and not knowing if I could fulfill it makes me queasy. Which is probably my reasoning for never pursuing an Honor’s contract if I’m being honest about it.]
Kind of wondering if creating a Children’s picture book would work as an Honor’s contract for Children’s Lit…But they would probably want something a bit more in-depth for an Honor’s contract…I don’t know…Making a Children’s book would be fun I think…Then again, that would require some kind of storyline and pictures and the ability to put them together…*shrugs*
The other creative endeavour…I’m contemplating NaNoWriMo again…
I’ve wanted to do it again since the first time I did it. But with school…I’m still not sure I can manage…But I so want to try.
Tho…I really don’t have a story plot either…Then again it’s still nearly 2 months away. *shrugs*
The Critters have come home in good moods from the school the last two days…Even after riding the bus home Harley has been in a good mood.
So it’s a good start to the school year.
Talked to Harley’s teacher this morning. He did have one incident yesterday, but she paid him no heed and addressed the rest of the class, and it sunk into him too. He had gotten upset by a non-perfection, and threw his paper away. After she said what she did to the class, Harley calmed down and went and retrieved his paper, and went back to work.
Guess that’s probably it for the evening…Bonsoir.
*hugs you lots* good days at school are very good! I think you could use some of your photos in your story if you make one. it is all your work then. *smiles* i did a handmade book for one of my lit classes for a short story i wrote based on the song hotel california. hahahaha

So how does the Honor’s contract help you? Do you get more credits or something for it? I think a creative project for Brit Lit sounds fun. But, of course, I think essays are fun too. You should write a kids book about the adventures of your little poppet that you made. Okay, maybe not. *lol* Bonsoir, mon ami! ♥
