Kept busy so far today.

Trying to keep busy…Today hasn’t been too bad.

Mum had to run Cindy this morning, so I was alone when I woke up.  Tired doing some research via computer. The books I picked up didn’t do a lot of research…Though as Mum pointed out earlier, it may have helped more than I though initially. [Books are location research, computer is thinking research…Which I still have a lot of research to do…& I have to train myself to take neater notes…My handwritten notes from this morning looks worse than Sonja’s handwriting, and trust me, that’s bad. *laughs*]

Went to Gaylord after Mum got home…Needed camera batteries…Along with some of the usual things we need to get. The batteries made my camera happy though. *grins*

Went for a walk after we got home…Well, after I got a couple more raccoon pics. Took camera with. Changed to the medium length lens, thought maybe it would help with the frog pictures (as they were too blurry). Stupid frogs of course decided not to cooperate, or be anywhere in sight. Oh well, their loss.
There was a really ugly spider at the tubes…Got a couple shots of it.
On the walk back got a couple pictures of a chimpmunk…& some of a puff adder! Mum spotted it on the way back. I don’t think he appreciated being a model, but it made for better pictures. *laughs*

Checked on the letterboxes…The group one, has been found three times, and has a hitchhiker visiting it currently. Sonja’s letterbox was found a second time…She’ll be happy to know it’s been found again. She said I could place a letterbox while she was gone, but we’re not allowed to go find them. *laughs*

When we got back to the house, we decided to take a walk out back…Didn’t get to see anymore live wildlife…Did find a skull…Searched online…My best guess…Either a fox, or coyote. Mum took a picture of it, but it’s not the best angle. *shrugs* I could be way off though.

 I know, it’s a tiny, tiny picture.

I need to think about making some kind of food…Mum & I are munching on potatoe chips currently…That is not a good dinner. *laughs*

i am fascinated by your letterbox things. i love hearing about it. *smiles* food.. ugh. *laughs*

I wanna see photos of all the animals! *grins*I’m SO jealous of your skull find! I’d bet more along the lines of a fox than a coyote. Too small.Light of heart,

Um… WHAT is in that picture (other than a pair of fingers and thumbs)? Sounds like you’ve found a fun outdoor family activity with letterboxing.

aww!!. ermn resarch??

those are some huge canines on that skull. *tries to remeber how to tell the difference between coyote and fox* nope buried in a pile of notes from school. based on size I would say fox…but a canine for sure.

I do that when I’m on my own. A bar of chocolate or a packet of crisps will do for my tea. It’s crazy. I love the sound of all that nature – although I’m not too keen on the whole spiders/snakes angle! Take care xxx
