It’s a miracle, it hasn’t been two weeks…

Critters…
Are actually playing a game together as I write this (Pirates of the Caribbean Life). Tho they need to be finishing it up rather quick, as it is Harley’s bedtime.

Friday Sonja went down the road to see if Brendan was there, so she would have someone to walk down to the river with. He wasn’t there…She came back with a trampoline. [It would be more precise to say, Ron gave her a ride back down there to ask if we would happen to want a trampoline. He apparently had 3 of them, and no longer has the vast amount of kids down there that he use to…So deciding he didn’t need 3, decided to give us one if we wanted…Of course the Critters wanted.]

Myself…
I have spent very little time on the computer the last two days…It actually feels pretty good. I only got on here when I did tonight because I needed to type up my 3rd Application paper for English (which I still need something resembling a paragraph…Hopefully something comes to be before I have to print it off tomorrow before leaving).

It’s been almost a week since I’ve gotten to be online with Wasil. He had two nights that he had to get up early in the morning, so he was going to be off…And somewhere along the lines he managed to hurt his back. He’s been bedridden due to pain and only getting out of bed for necessities. [I know, to most, it may not seem like much…But even if we are just online, webcams up, not even really talking & doing our own things…We could still at least see each other, and it helps to make the distance seem not so far.]

College…
Math: I have a test tomorrow…I’m not sure how I’m going to do on it. It’s probability stuff. It’s hard to keep it all straight.
I’m having trouble with the xylophone measurements…Or rather figuring out the measurements. I’m a bit closer…I have one aspect of it figured out…I’ve figured out what numbers go where in most of the final equation…There are just a couple numbers that I haven’t a clue as to where they are suppose to come from.

Eng 216: Ug…I got a C on my seminar proposal paper & told that I pretty much have no real focus for the paper that is going to work to be what the paper needs to be. & I haven’t a clue what I’m going to do about it. I can’t think straight. I mean…I have thoughts, but I can’t seem to present them in a way that turns out to be analyzation and what not.
As previously mentioned, I have my 3rd Application paper due tomorrow, and I need another paragraph to take it to its 2 pages.

World Lit: We don’t have class on Thursday…We still have an assignment. We have to write a 400 word paragraph on one of the recent 4 things we’ve read, as to why it is something that should be read. I’ll get to that. I already know which one I’m going to do, and have an angle, so that’s something.
Still need to get to the reading of the outside book & then the writing of that paper.

Storytelling: My group book presentation is Wednesday…& I still don’t know how we are going to handle it. We were suppose to talk about it Wednesday night, but they decided to just do it online…Thus far, no one has posted anything on there either. *rolls eyes* *sighs*

Odds & Ends…
The weather has been beautiful! It has been in the 80s the last 3 days!

Mum got the grill out of storage yesterday, in the thought of making something for food before she left…It ended up in the corner of stuff that will go away as soon as we figure out where to send it to. She said something about it smelling bad while she was bringing it up the driveway…Sonja said something about maybe there was something living in it…I said something about maybe there was something dead in it…Mum opened the lid…There was a GIANT mouse nest! O.o

So…When I went to do the shopping today I picked up a new grill…2 actually. Household monies bought a new ‘big’ grill….It’s a little shorter than the last one I think, but it’s up off the ground, so the animals can’t get to the foods. It’s name is Botard, Bo for short…As it was pissing me off to no end when I was trying to put it together. The second one is a tiny travel one…It folds up on itself, I used my money that is on my card to get it…It’s the perfect size for tossing in the back of Appa, so if we decide to just take off for a bit, then decided we want to grill something…We’ll have a grill. [Part of the reason is I really want to take another ‘Quarter of Destiny’* trip, and it would be good to have a grill.]
We put Bo to use tonight…The 18th of March, and we are cooking food on the grill already…So awesome.

Sonja & I are also hoping to have something that resembles a garden…Though I know it means finding something to build boxes out of, and finding dirt somewhere along the lines. We planted seeds tonight, and will hopefully have seedlings in a little bit.

I think that is pretty much what is going on at the moment.

*The Quarter of Destiny
Nearly 14 years ago I had a big purple van (named Amethyst)…I’m not sure how it began, but an adventure took place. It was Me, Mum, Ken & the Idiot (prior to him becoming the Idiot he would become)…& I suppose Sonja too, as she was in my belly.
We ended up riding around and we came to a crossroad and wasn’t sure which direction to go…Someone happened to have a quarter…Said quarter was flipped, with heads being one direction, tails being another direction, and we followed where the quarter led. We went ALL over the place…Down power line roads, down through the Pigeon River (We seen Elk…At least I think that was that day…)…We stopped somewhere and got stuff to grill, then stopped somewhere to cook food (I remember there being corn on the cob).
Ken cracked jokes the whole time…There was a running commentary about fences that had fallen down. [This was brought up yesterday, as I was commenting that the fence around the blackberry brambles was falling down in a couple places.] Mum still has the quarter, she put it somewhere as a memento.
If gas prices decide to even out & not go any higher…It would be nice to just set off on an adventure again.
