Is all of the creative…

My creativity seems to be in high mode. It feels wonderful…Aside from not knowing what to do all the time to keep it happy. I want to keep it happy. I know it improves my mood when I’m creating things.

I’ve finished two more felt plushies tonight, I was waiting on eyes (which I have decided are evil things). & I’ve got two Sculpey creations that I just took out of the oven…They too are having eye issues (see, eyes are evil things). Hopefully I’ll either find what I need for them (I know they are around here somewhere…If Sonja was here, she would know where they are, I’m almost positive about that), or I’ll have to pick up some more Thursday or Friday.

I’ve been drawing again too! I’m in complete adoration of my set of animals. I need to get pictures uploaded somewhere so I can share them here too. ANYWAY…We have to do a visual metaphor for my Language Arts for Teachers class…I chose to do art. We are suppose to show a visual metaphor for teaching…Mine is a picture I drew, on a canvas…Then I used various mediums (acrylic paint, water color, marker, colored pencil) to represents different kinds of students and different kinds of learning. The canvas is the base, the pencil marks the teacher, the inked part the lesson plan…blah, blah, blah…It’s an ‘unfinished’ work, as learning is never finished. ANYWAY…The picture is a nature picture, it has 8 animals in it…These animals have become my friends. *grins* I think I’m suppose to do something with them…They are storytellers. *nods* That is something that came out when I was drawing the picture. The initial one they only slightly gathered, some of them are scattered across the canvas, but I do believe they are on their way to the gathering. I’ve got another sketch I’ve done of the lot of them, all 8 of them are gathered around a bonfire, and I know their purpose is to tell each other stories. I’m going to name them.
Anyway, (Gods, there are a lot of those tonight. *laughs*) I’m working on individual pictures of each of them as well…I’ve got half of them sketched out. I think I’m going to figure out little bios for them, then place them somewhere within these individual pictures I’m making of them.

I drew a Buddha today! *giggles*
I wasn’t actually sure I could manage it, but I did a fairly good job. & it was from memory, as I had nothing to look at as a reference. We were doing something in my Intro to Assessment class. It was more or less a performance assessment, that we did in groups, that showed what we had learned. We were to make posters, designed however we wanted them. I wish I would have thought to take a picture of ours when it was done. At one point, and I do feel kind of bad about it, while the one guy in our group was doing some of the drawing I remarked that the artwork was painful. *bites lip* *giggles* So I got volunteered to do some of drawing. Which is how I ended up drawing Buddha, he represented meditation and self-evaluation, or something like that.
They tried to censor my Buddha! O.o We were suppose to give feedback on the other 3 groups posters, using post-it notes. Someone put a post-it note over my Buddha’s lap, as they decided he was nakkie. It’s not like anything showed! *laughs*

We also had a test today in Assessment class…I was a bit worried about it, as the chapters is was over where mind numbing. BUT…It was a group test! WooHoo! & I think we did pretty good. *nods*

Speaking of doing pretty good on things…I got back my double lesson plan that I was stressing over, and my book presentation today. I got 36/40 on my double lesson plan & 37/40 on my book presentation. *grins*
So yeah…Feeling pretty good about those. Still have two more assignments for that class…The Research project, which I’m feeling shaky about…& I should really start it, as I have to present it next week. O.o
& the last one is our final…& our visual metaphor is in there somewhere.

All I have to do is touch up my final assessment for Assessment class and turn it in by next week, and that class will be done.

I need to write…There is some stuff I need to do for Finish This Book.
I was hoping to do some Finish This Book stuff Friday, but that is going to have to be put on hold, hopefully only till Saturday. I need to go outback for it (If nothing else, Finish This Book is getting me outback! *laughs*)…I couldn’t convince Harley to go with me last week, so I didn’t go. I probably could have, but I would have been worried about him being at the house alone the whole time I was gone, and wouldn’t have been able to enjoy it properly.
I was going to go Monday, but as Harley had a reprieve and was here instead of in blah-land…Then had class all day today. *falls over* [But it’s the last one of those days. Yay!]
They are calling for rain tomorrow and Thursday.
Friday Mum has to have a scope thing done, to check on her acid reflux, and they have to knock her out for it, so I get to be driver. [Last time Cindy drover her, and brought her back home…Mum remembered pretty much nothing about leaving the hospital & getting home…& apparently she argued with the nurses about not wanting to be in a wheelchair to get wheeled out to Cindy’s Jeep…So yeah…Should be all kinds of fun. Mum said Cindy said to video tape her Friday. *laughs*]

Anyway…I do believe that is about it for the moment.

I wish I knew where those eyes are hiding…
