This school in the summer is killing me…Draining me…I think I have lost anything that resembles focus.
I have two assignments due tomorrow…Neither are done…I’m coming up against a brick wall on both of them. *sigh*
I also have a quiz that is due tomorrow, but I haven’t even begun to think about that.
Last week…
Monday…Can’t recall anything going on.
Tuesday…Had a special class, went into a summer school program to do some research stuff…There was suppose to be and one other of the women from class there, her babysitter never showed up, so she didn’t. I don’t think I did too bad on my own. We have to go back next week…I really don’t want to even think about the assignment it’s tied to. Especially tonight.
Wednesday…4th of July! Didn’t quite go as planned, but it wasn’t too bad. Mum & Critters & I went into Boyne…Later than what we were supposed to. Didn’t get to really walk around the craft show/market thing. Then went out to Mum friend Kelly’s house for a ‘cook-out’ for Cindy’s birthday. The dogs were cooked outside (because Kelly said it was too hot out), but they brought them in to eat. They weren’t that good of dogs either. *shrugs* But it was food. Then after eating, Kelly decided it wasn’t too hot anymore, so everyone went outside and just sat around for a bit. [Not really what I wanted to do with my afternoon, but *shrugs* whatever.]
Went to fireworks, Me, Mum & the Critters. They were pretty good. *smiles*
Thursday…Went to Dinosaur Gardens. It was melty hot, but not too bad in the gardens, as most of it is in the midst of a cedar swamp.
Friday…Went to the Soo Locks. Went on the boat tour…Underestimated the sun vs. sun block…I got quite a bit pink on the back. After the locks we went to the Valley Camp ship museum, which is next to it. The Critters seemed to be having fun.
After that we headed back towards home, but made a stop in St. Ignace, and stopped at the Deer Ranch. I think that might have been the favorite. *laughs* This is the first time that we’ve been there with soooooo many babies! &&, the shed was opened up so you could go inside where the babies were at! I have stuffed ‘albino’[He’s not quite actual albino, there is a hint of color to him.] fawn, I named it Colt, after the one that was nibbling on my fingers in the barn. There was one named Emily, a normal colored one, that licked my phoenix tattoo…Then my inner elbow (it tickled!) and pretty much my whole forearm. *laughs* Deers are adorable, especially baby ones.
Saturday and Sunday were days…There really wasn’t much going on.
Critters had to leave yesterday. *frowns* Tis sadness…But I get them back Saturday instead of Sunday. *smiles*
Then Sonja goes to c
amp for three weeks! [& like I said in last entry…anyone who wants to write her, I’ll pass the address along.] We drop her off on the 15th, and don’t get her back till August 4th!
I do have an idea of one thing to do with Harley while she’s gone…Well he wants to go play put-put & have pizza @ Papa K’s…but this is something else. There is a Lego display going on in T.C. I just found out where today. So I think I will make sure to get him there. It’s only around until the 1st of September.
i am sure he will love spending time with you! i will try and write like i did last year! MUAH school. ugh.

Wow you’re an awesomely cool mom! Taking your kids here & there. Sounds like they’re having a very fun summer vacation! I’m sure Harley will be over the moon with the Lego exhibit!
