Half way thru…

Forgot to turn in my stupid quiz…*headdesk* I sent an e-mail to my professor telling him I had it, just forgot it in the midst of today’s group essay.
*shakes head & laughs* You know, I’m sure it won’t be hard to buy that as an excuse. He was wanting a tape recorder to record us talking. I think we amuse him to no end. Our class is so small that we all come together as one in a group quiz. All of us contributing…He likes to be able to hear us come to our conclusions, and he actually offers up a bit of help (did this last group quiz too). The first question was about why the mariner in Rime of the Mariner killed the albatros. He did actually tell us that we got it right before we left…But just our thoughts and comments and stuff that went into the discussion. Which also led to mentioning of hunters in general, and how some just hunt for sport, and that it’s a stupid reason to hunt. One of the girls I was sitting close to said something about being a hunter…Then someone mentioned about fox hunting being wrong…And apparently the first one has actually eaten fox! O.o she said something about it tasting like squirrel, so kind of like chicken, but more rubbery…To which I edged slight away from said girl, which garnered some more amusement on the professors part. Seriously though…My coyote wanted nothing to do with being anywhere near her!

Still not 100%…But getting slowly better. No word about my Xrays…But I’m not holding my breath on them either. [*headdesk* Chest Xrays…Holding breath…Gods…There is something wrong with me. *laughs*]

Finished my Persuasion take home paper a bit ago. The one answer was a cop out. I seriously wanted to put no further thought into it. I did, I think, put a fair amount of thought into the essay question tho. It was a pointing out the difference between the used ending of Persuasion, and the original ending that was almost used. Then asking what our preference was, and why. Seriously, as much as I don’t care for reading Jane Austen, I think she made the right choice in the rewrite of her ending. To me it played out better, and things came about as a course of actual effort and thought on the part of Captain Wentworth, not by accidental design of a third party.
Though, admittedly, I can not fault part of her writing style…Considering I can site myself guilty of it on more than one occasion. I have a tendency towards long sentences, of this I am fully aware. Painfully so sometimes, as I worry they grow too long on occasion. *shrugs*

Ug…Need to put some work into my Econ paper & work on Children’s Lit.
Crap…I think the forum for The Graveyard book is this week…
I need to check and see when the next module is due…Gods I hope not this week, or I is in troubles!

Um…There was another thought, but I lost it. *shrugs* Oh wells. I is out of here for the moment…
Oh wait…Membered…

Last night I had to come up with something to tell Wasil that he could tell his mother to get me for Christmas. O.o Why is this woman wanting to buy me something?! *stuffs her in a trunk* Seriously? Now I’m wondering if I should put together some kind of basket thing as an offering. What am I getting myself in to?

*thinks* Did I mention last entry that Wasil wants to take me down there? If he gets released from work in time, he wants to come up here that Friday, stay the night, then take me down to his parents (and Jon’s) for Saturday…Then we’d come back up Saturday night. (If I’m remembering correctly, Jon is the guy whom he stays with when he stays downstate.)
Granted…I’m sure with the going to his parents, as I believe it has to be for their Xmas get together, I will get to see Bianca. Which, really, I’m kind of not really looking forward to.

All I really want to do is find a nice little cave to crawl off into and take my Wasil with me.

i’m with you, a nice warm cave with singer sounds really good right now. heh. *hugs you* i hope your xrays say something! MUAH

Creepy hunter people! Of course, as a vegetarian, that’s really weird to me. However, honestly, if you’re going to eat it, it’s a lot safer & cleaner to eat wild game. But hunting purely for sport? That’s a big no in my book! I’m a huge Coleridge fangirl. I never liked Shelley quite as much as Coleridge or Keats, but I still enjoy his work. It was always a challenge for me. You can write really long grammatically correct sentences. I’m partial to them myself. Though I ironically kinda suck at grammar, despite having been an English major. Ha! I think sometimes long sentences are very useful, but if you write one after another, that can get overwhelming sometimes. Your last line just made me think “The cave of love” & I can’t stop giggling over that corny symbolism. Sorries! I know the situation is not funny. *stuffs parents in a box* ♥

ryn: If the human population grows out of control [as it arguably is] who’s going to hunt us? Ah…we’re doing a pretty good job of destroying each other as it is, I suppose. Byron was never my fave. He wrote a rather interesting vampire story…not interesting enough for me to recall the title, apparently. Yeah, just remind the boy he owes you extra specials for putting up with the familytime! ♥

RYN: yup! Bitching properly is for sure the way to go! You has a bit more time though. Lol
