Friday…In a nutshell…Or out of one…

I am SO jealous…Of Harley’s Christmas present from his teacher. *laughs*
He wasn’t feeling good, so I went and picked him up from school, before his party even. Well, Mrs. Gooding sent home his present with him, and when we got back to the house he opened it.

I glanced over after it was opened…A notebook and a book: ‘A Practical Guide to Dragon Riding‘…The sequel to ‘A Practical Guide to Dragons’. My thought at first, well, Mrs. Gooding knows him well. Called him over so we could look at it together…I was thinking it was pretty awesome myself. The dragons style (even colour scheme) was straight out of D&D. Got going further, and there was mention of something you don’t usually see out of Dragonlance…Draconians! I so started scrambling for a writer…The book was ‘inscribed’ by…Wait for it…A KENDER! [Come to find out the publisher of said book is Wizards of the Coast.] But seriously…Gods…I’m so jealous. I’m going to have to make sure to let Mrs. Gooding know when I go back to pick up Sonja & the tub I took Harley’s classes goodie bags in.

But that’s it for the moment. I have to go back to the school in a bit to pick up Sonja…Depending on how Harley is feeling & the weather…As it’s getting a bit on the snowy side out there…We’ll see if we make T.C. today or not. If not…We’ll come up with something. [9:25 AM]

[7:55 PM]

Decided to brave the semi-icky weather and go to T.C. By the time we (Me & the Critters) had gotten out of Wal*Mart, the icky weather had left and it was fairly nice…Well not snowy anyway…It was still a bit on the blowy side, but not too bad.

Christmas shopping in finished! [Aside from Mum’s shopping, which she is doing tomorrow with Cindy.] Each of the Critters got $10.00 to spend on everyone. [Everyone being the other Critter, Me & Mum.]

Sonja went a bit over budget on Harley’s gift(s). Only by about 88 cents. She got him two Indiana Jones action figures. [He’s getting some more for Christmas as well…So he’ll be a happy Critter.]

Harley got Sonja some Poke’mon things…Sonja pretty much picked them out. So she’ll be happy too.

I’m not sure what Sonja got me…Aside from some kind of jewellery (which she said was pink *glares at her*), stuffed animals of some sorts…& a drink called ‘Doom Juice’…It’s an energy drink they were selling at Hot Topic that had Gir on the can. *laughs*

Harley got me a throwing star. J

Sonja got Mum a bath set that smells like blackberry & vanilla…A stuffed bulldog & a couple little Happy Bunny things.
Harley got her a Christmas wreath, stuffed killer whale, a necklace with a weird symbol on it having to do, somehow, with March, a Mr. Goodbar, & some incense.

When we got back there was a card from my dad waiting…It contained gift cards for me & the Critters…$50.00 a piece for Wal*Mart.

Dan’s dad’s wife…Renea, called while we were out and talked to my Mum. She overnighter $170.00. $20.00 of it is suppose to go to buy Dan’s oldest sister’s little monster, I mean girl, a present…While the rest is for the Critters & me. I’m suppose to find a Matchbox Mega Rig Shark Ship for Harley with part of it…Which is something Dan promised to get him a year ago for his birthday, and it never showed up. [The money is suppose to be here by 4 PM tomorrow.]

Harley made a snowman out of a brick in class this week. Most of the kids in his class put the scarf around the neck, as a scarf…Harley put the snowman’s scarf around it’s head, and declared it a ninja. *laughs* He’s so cute.

The tree doesn’t look too bad…There is a nice little stack under it. J Everyone’s pressies to everyone else. I made montages for each of the Critters…I can’t remember if I mentioned that before or not. Sonja is really curious as to what is wrapped up so little. I would of thought she would have been more interested in the bigger presents. Though she did poke around at the other one I got her.

Despite Harley being the one that came home sick, and made a miraculous recovery (I’m inclined to think it was the bacon he had for breakfast at school), it is Sonja who is now feeling ill…To the point of being physically sick.

Oh yeah…Got my books. I needed two sketchbooks for 3-D design. One regular one, and one that has a hardcover to it. O.o Also picked up a new X-acto knife, some Elmer’s glue…I forgot to grab a new kneaded eraser. I also need pliers…But they didn’t have any at the bookstore, and I’m not sure exactly what kind they have in mind. *shrugs* I’ll figure it out.

English [Creative Writing] is one thick book. I’ll attempt to do better at my reading assignments this semester. I really need to stay focused…And still somehow manage to be creative and write.

Eastern Religions…Six books! O.o Most of them are skinny things…But still…6!!

I didn’t get any of my supplies for photography. The paper there said to figure about $100.00 for supplies. Also came to the realization…Our 35mm camera died…I’m going to have to get one of them somewhere along the lines most likely.

OMGs…Peter is a happy rat. *laughs* I got a sale thing in my inbox for Alvin’s wands…It had cheaper than usual 2-3 day shipping…So I thought I would take a look. Of course I had to head almost straight to the candy. Still no ice mice. [Maybe I’ll use some of the money from Dan Sr. & Renea to get myself some ice mice elsewhere…When I can find them they are in major packages, like they would use to set up displays & sell at the stores…Anyway…] Fudge Flies!! They now have Fudge Flies! J So yeah…Couldn’t help myself, HAD to order some to see what they are like & to appease Peter. *huggles rat*

Well, me thinks that is it for this entry. *skips off*
