Doing the Entry Thing…

Turned in my Annotated Bibliography, Abstract & Process Plan today…via e-mail, as class was cancelled because the Professor was sick.
He’s going to be gone the next two weeks, so no class for the next two weeks either. BUT…I need to seriously get some kind of work done on my paper. I think we are suppose to have a draft when we go back to class in three weeks.
I still need to find some more Trickster tales with an obvious teaching moment. I’ve got one, Eshu & his black/red or black/white (depending on which version you hear/read) hat.

I started work on Sonja’s dolphin tail. Unfortunately the sewing machine I have either hates the material I’m making the tail out of, or it just hates me. I so wish I had my old sewing machine back. *le sigh* [I know Wasil was trying to do good getting me a new machine…But I really wish he hadn’t. I didn’t need a new one. I wish he would have just asked me what I actually wanted.] So I’m hand sewing Sonja’s tail…Which is like 90% done. & I’ll have to hand-sew her fin too. & then figure out how to get everything smooshed together.

I need to do some work on homework for Thursday. Class review, type up guided meditation for last week’s lesson plan (which I have to present this week), & this week’s lesson plan (Math/Music).

I made these tamale things Sunday that we seen on Recipe Rehab a couple weeks ago…They were okay. The recipe used plain Greek yogurt in place of sour cream. Which is actually sooooo much better. I don’t like sour cream, and I was hesitent about the whole Greek yogurt in place of it too, but it worked really well. I was also worried about having to get such a big container for using so little…Turns out, that was not a problem, as I just finished off the rest of it a little bit ago!

Apparently Sonja is having a Halloween Party…Told her if she cleaned up the dining room, and she did. Did a pretty good job of it too.
Now I need to straighten up the living room a bit (as it currently doubles as my bedroom [Sonja’s too] & my work area…& is a bit of a mess).

I hurt my ankle last week again…I need to start icing it every day again. *sigh* 
It doesn’t hurt while I’m running…It just hurts when I’m sitting around, and what not. *shrugs* 

I feel the need building to do something…Just wish I knew for sure what that something is…

I don’t think Harley has realized it’s the evil week…He’s been in too good of a mood. I wonder if he’ll ask what day it is in the morning. I dread that question. But it’s good that he’s been in a cheery mood, and not a dwelling one. Tho I hate the thought of having to tell him tomorrow that he has to go if he hasn’t realized it. *sigh*
