Day Eight. *grins like an idiot*

I KNOW men are visual creatures, but I’m a WOMAN, DAMN IT…I NEED words.

First thing first…As I write this, I am laying down on my very much put together futon. Poor Raya called at probably the worst time in my putting together of things. The drawers were NOT playing nice with me. The instructions sucked…as they were all pictures (which I’m usually fine with) and no words…A few words here and there would of been nice. *kicks the maker of the instructions* [A man, no doubt. *giggles*]

But…I conqured the drawer issue…and got it all set up, mattress in place and everything…Ooo…nice comfy matress. *laughs* I’ve got stuff in my drawers already…Though not everything is taken care of…And I’m sure I’ll need to rearrange my drawer before too long. I packed up all 13 notebooks containing ‘A most unconventional student’, all the notebooks that have bits and pieces of roleplay entires that I’ve written over the last nearly two years, and most of my HP companion books (Though I did keep out A Muggles Guide to the Wizarding World), put them in a box, and put the box in my closet.

Guess that kind of goes with how things are going with roleplay currently. Like Raya, I’m thinking of dropping down to one…maybe two…rpg entries a week. We’ve been at it for quite a while, and it’s possible we need a break. I do hope that it doesn’t upset any of our readers…But you have to admit…We’ve EARNED a break. Plus…With me setting out work on my story for November, my mind just doesn’t seem to be on roleplay currently. [In fact, while looking something else up for someone else, I stumbled across something I might be able to use for my story, and I’m kind of anxious to get back to looking at it more closely to see for sure.]

Still on the thought of Novemeber’s story…I was looking up information for it last night (the mundane stuff), and I still have more to look up for it yet. I need to think of a proper setting…Town name, etc. Then I have some other stuff to look up (the not so mundane stuff…which is what the other falls in line with that I stumbled across earlier). I’m actually quite excited about this whole thing…Which I need to go and sign-up for properly. [I’ve even got Grim thinking about trying to write for it.]

Which that last little bit brings me to my entry title. The phone rang at 5:09pm…I was quite surprised to see the number on the caller I.D. As I wasn’t expecting to see it for another six days. As, after my night of drunken stupidity…Grim decided that perhaps a two-week ‘break’ would do us (read me) some good. I’m still not sure what purpose it really served. *shrugs* Anyway…Grim decided that a week was enough.

Anyway…Back to my futon. *laughs* We (Mum and me) were expecting it to be shorter, and generally smaller, than the couch. Instead…It’s longer (so I had to rearrange end tables…And am now without one on the end I sit on. *pouts* I don’t know what I’m going to do about it currently…*misses her end table*), and wider…So me and a Critter fit better on it together. Plus…It lays down into a bed! A bed with a comfortable mattress. [Has realized something slightly warped and twisted, but had decided to keep it to myself…As I’m not sure it’s an apporpriate thought at all. *giggles*]

Mum had a thought today…The video store in town has, for pretty much forever I guess, had a help-wanted sign in the window. So, I’m thinking that tomorrow after I get back from Sonja’s fieldtrip (as I messed up on which day it was, so I get to go and play chaperone…and attempt to hide the fact that I want to string one of her classmates up in one of the trees at the orchard…), I’m going to go do some shopping things that need done, and stop by the video store and get an application. I’m thinking it might not be too bad…It’ll kind of be like a gas station, without the gas part of it (which is the part I really hated about working at one). I just know I wouldn’t like a grocery store…or a Wal-mart/K-mart kind of store. [Speaking of…What is with Wal-mart phasing out their Lay-A-Way? Do they not realize that with Christmas coming up a lot of people need lay-a-way to do their shopping? It’s not like everyone can just go out and buy for everyone all at once. *shakes head* It’s bloody well annoying of them anyway.] So…if they decide to hire me…I guess I’ll be working. *laughs*

I want more candy…Ug…I’ll have to get up for that though…Oh well…Gods…I’m suddenly hungry…And there is NOTHING to snack on. I’ll have to go find something….Yes…Food is good…I get to have a Lunchable for (of all things) lunch tomorrow. But that’s not now…*thinks* There has to be something…[Yes, I have lost it, thanks for noticing…And if you happen to see it…Hmmm…Well…I’m not sure if I really want it back, as it tends not to be overly fun. *laughs*]

Guess I’ll end this here…And have to go back to failing to think up witty titles tomorrow, if I manage to write…But it’s all good. *grins like an idiot*

Log in to write a note

Sounds like you’re doing well with the story ideas! Yay!!! Perhaps, this one story will inspire to write even more original stories after November. Would be awesome! – Now, I need an original thought… *laughs* *pokes at RPG* I think a permanent break might come along soon. I haven’t the energy for it anymore. I haven’t the energy for much of anything anymore… Blah. Thenew idea was good for a short time, as I said. Now… *shrugs* Good luck with the job! I hope you get it. Money is goood! Hehe. *hugs*

Isn’t that how you normally grin…? Heh, isn’t that how you normally do/think about everything?

RYN: lol, my plot came to me in the shower! Maybe water makes you think 😉

The story ideas seem to be flowing well for you! Rock on! Good luck with the job hunt. Nothing wrong with once a week or less rpg entries. As I told Raya, it is supposed to be fun, not stress. Can’t say I won’t miss it if you all would stop, but you’ve worked hard and done a great job! Yay for putting stuff together too! I am rubbish at stuff like that.

October 10, 2006

Hurray…You’re writing your own story…good luck.

ryn: I’d say that it is expected that you would be tired of it after two years. I’ve never committed to writing something for that long. Hell, I never finish anything I start writing. Anyway, like I said…I’m a huge fan, but (duh!) you need to do what you need to do. I look forward to signed copies of your original stuff! That hope will keep me going between rpg entries. *hugs*

October 10, 2006

I’m lookin forward to hearin more about this new story.. I’ve grown very fond of your writing.. that goes for Raya’s as well. I have tons of stuff started but I’m horrible at finishing things.
