Christmas Lights?!?! *EDIT*
Bloody hell! It’s…*looks at date* Novemeber 11th! It hasn’t even reached Thanksgiving! What is wrong with these people…It is to early for Christmas Lights! I seen not one, but two…count them…two houses with bloody lights up already!
Let’s see…Have I learned my lesson about keeping a rat in my shirt? No…Peter is hiding in my shirt…but I think he’s being good this time. It not…it’s the cage for him! *laughs* Which yeah…went back to Pet Smart today, and exchanged his cage in on one that has all it’s bars. So he’ll have his nice new house, and no more trying to escape to the Dark Lord…
Which takes me to my next purchase…I used the money from a survey thing I’m taking, and what was left on my Hot Topic gift card…I have a black T-shirt with the words ‘Voldemort Returns’ on the bottom, and the Dark Mark in the sky above it. It was between that one, and another one, but I didn’t care as much for the look of what I was assuming was suppose to be the Dark Mark on it…didn’t look right…It had Death Eaters written on it. (This from the girl who is on the side of good. *laughs*) They need a Slytherin shirt…they had a bloody Gryffindor one. *pouts*
But yeah…Even if Hot Topic wasn’t cool enough on it’s own…Got to love it for the Harry Potter merchandise. *grins*
Also come to the conclusion that I can not wait til Yule to watch Dark Harbor…Can’t do it, can’t do it, can’t do it…So tonight, after the Critters pass out…
Got a couple more things bought for Christmas presents…getting there, slowly…maybe it’ll be done in time.
Been working with Scupley…for those of you who don’t know what Sculpey is…it’s a polymer clay. It starts off soft and pliable, and actually stays that way while you’re working with it…and will stay that way until it’s cured in the oven…15 min at 275 degrees. It’s a delightful product, really. Got some stuff I made, most of it is even painted now…the one thing I made I made twice, two diffrent ways, because the first time didn’t work right..and by all rights the second time didn’t work right either…but it worked better than the first time, and I can’t think of how to get it to work just right. (If it was normal clay and kiln I was working with, I could get it closer…and despite the fact I’ve got a big block of clay sitting in my closet…I have no access to a kiln. *sigh*)
Another fun substance to play with is Miliput. Only problem is, it doesn’t stay pliable…so once you get it mixed (It’s a two part poxy) you got to get done what you’re doing (and it’s tre’ more expensive than Sculpey). If I ever get off my arse, and finish off the one doll I started, I could show a good example of miliput in use…she’s got such a loverly tail…I just need to get to the wings. *grins*
You know…I think I have no point at all to any of this. *laughs* Oh well…I’ve got to go add a bit of a cold detention to my entry…and then put another point of view on said entry….*runs off to do what must be done*
*EDIT*
Watched Dark Harbor…Well it didn’t have my undivided attention, so I missed some things…Though I think they purposely left out things…that’s more of what it is…they don’t tell you what’s really going on…And I’m not going to tell anyone either, because I’m not going to ruin it for anyone who hasn’t watched it…All I’m going to say is…The ending…was NOT what I was expecting…that’s for sure.

Don’t always have to have a point to writing something. I never feel like I have to have a point. I’m scatter-brained though.

Never even heard of it.

*laughs* yeah, I know what you mean. It says it’s an ad about love, but in all actuality, I don’t think it’s about the love. It portrays it being more about lust and sex. Which … really kinda sucks, cause lust only lasts so long. But yeah, thanks for kicking the bad day.

I know about the ending… I just haven’t seen it. ryn That she did! She’s a goof about 99% of the time. And about the Christmas deco… My dad and his girlfriend came into town this weekend and walked around the downtown area. All of the decorations are up in the Circle Centre mall, and Monument Circle has a majority of it’s stuff up. ~Linnie
