Brief Update…

Let’s see…

Linguistics is done…
All that is left of Mythology is the Final, which we get the questions on the 1st & have 48 hours to do it.
French…Last Thursday was suppose to be the review, but as we didn’t have class again, I’m guessing that got moved to tomorrow…So this Thursday  should be the exam over chapter 9. That leaves 2 days of class…& No way that we can learn & have an exam over chapter 10 in two days.
I don’t know what he is going to do…*shrugs*
American Lit…I have to write a 1,000 word essay in the next two days…Well Tuesday after school & Wednesday before school (as I have to turn it in Wednesday night) & then a week from this Wed. will be our Final exam for that…& THEN…Then I shall be done with the semester!

Last Tuesday night, when I was putting Harley to bed, he made some remark about a ‘bump’ he has. He said something about it getting bigger. I vaguely remember him mentioning one a while back, but thought probably a bug bite or something, and that was that. Anyway…I took a look at it, and it’s about the size of the tip of my pinky.
I took him into the doctor today…It measured at 3/4th something…That’s what he wrote down on the paper anyway.
ANYWAY…I take him to the surgeons office on the 20th of May…They are going to remove whatever it is.
It’s most likely something totally and completely benign and innocent…& he’ll be subjected to the torment of the removal for nothing more than having it removed. That is the option I’m going with.
The other option wasn’t really presented…Not mentioned…Just the repeated, things like this are usually nothing…Can’t tell for sure what it is until it’s removed…My brain has already gone to the edges of the other possibility. But it doesn’t bother him, it doesn’t cause him any pain or discomfort…It’s just there…So we are going with it’s really nothing…Nothing at all…[& we ignore the tiniest of voices in the dark depths…the one that whispers things about family histories…]
