A week(ish) in review…

*looks around* Where did this week go? Seriously, it seems to have ran off something quick.

Monday: Critters went to school for a couple hours, then to the dentist. Harley came back with no cavities. *smiles* Sonja on the other hand has one in an adult tooth…& she has an adult tooth that pushed her baby tooth off to the side (inside edge) of her mouth, and refuses to come out. So…The Monday coming up she gets to go back to the dentist to get the one filled & the other pulled. She has a morning appointment, but she won’t be going back to school afterwards…It could be hazardous to the health of anyone (like the gym teacher) if they were to get in her way. Since she has developed the freaking out over needles thing she has to take something before she goes in…When she’s coming off it…O.o She is a scary, scary Creature.

Tuesday: Watched a movie in French class, so no homework & no having to try and think…That made for an easier than expected day.

Wednesday: Finished the Odyssey, only to realize that I didn’t need to have my first post up today like I thought…It’s not due till Monday @ noon. So yeah…That was a bit of a relief.

Today (Thursday): Got a phone call from the Idiot right after I got to school…His babysitter bailed, he needed someone to watch the Critters after school…Told my French professor that I was going to have to leave early to beat my kids home…I was worried about getting the homework & missing any of the teaching…He finished up teacher @ 2:20…So I was there for all of that & got the homework for the week-end…Yay!

So…Yeah…I need to do some major researching the next little while…3 research papers are due before the end of the semester, and we’ve hit the mid-way point, more or less.

So yeah…Homework I’m looking at this week-end…

French: One lesson in the workbook…& I really need to start work on figuring out what I’m going to put into my presentation. It’s due April 14th.

Linguistics: Not sure what this weeks Reading Response is…She was going to e-mail us the instructions…Need to go see if those are in yet. Need to read through the articles I have for my research paper…Need to rewrite part of my research proposal…Need to still rewrite part of that first Reading Response.

American Lit: Yeah…Mid-term Wednesday. Need to go over the readings we did. We need to be able to pick out 10 from a list of 30…Put name of work & author to it, and explain the significance of the passage we are given for that work. We are allowed to make 4 of our 10 poems…I think I’m going to go for that, and I think most, if not all 4, are going to be Whitman poems. & DEF 2 of the other works are going to be Poe’s; The Fall of the House of Usher & The Black Cat. So…That’s 6-ish…So yeah…4 more (possibly 6, as I heard him tell another student to have a couple as back up in case one or two flee from mind at the time of the exam).

Mythology: *rolls eyes* Need to post something by Monday for the Odyssey…Need to getting a research proposal together for that research paper. I am contemplating…The importance of the Underworld in Mythology…Or something like that. Since a trip to the Underworld is always a popular occurrence.

*le sigh* My Critters have only been gone an hour and it seems like forevers…Tho I do get to go get them tomorrow @ noon. So that is good. & then Parent-Teacher Conference @ 1:00…Idiot said he would probably be picking them up same time tomorrow…Which was like 7-7:30…Then they get to go to Grandma Kathy’s for the week-end…So they are happy little Critters.

Apparently my graduating class is going to have a reunion. 18 years & they have a reunion. *rolls eyes & shakes head* Not @ 10 years…Not @ 15 years…Not @ 20 years…18…Yeah…They are all mentally challenged anyway. *laughs*

Well…Me thinks that is it for the moment.
