A not to bad entry
All things wolfie will have to wait, as I didn’t get around to it today. But I did get Raven an entry written and up.
Took Mum’s Jeep to TC, despite the noise of no muffler. Actually for the most part, it wasn’t as bad a drive as I was expecting…which I’m quite thankful for.
*has reached an all new low* When you can look at Zorg (The Fifth Element) and say, well from a certain angle, he isn’t so bad to look at…*headdesk* What the bloody hell is wrong with me?!
Anyway…I think I got the rest of the Easter shopping done. The one movie store in the mall is closing, they were pretty well picked clean, but I still ended up walking out of there with two dvds…This after other dvd purchases. I got Muppet Treasure Island, passing it off as a purchase for the Critters…But the Muppets are so cool, plus you get Tim Curry and I’m sure his ensuing insanity. I’d already picked up two for myself, but I couldn’t pass up the two I found in the store that was closing…So I went from having no dvds for myself to having four: Close My Eyes, TipToes (which were the ones at the store closing), Batman Begins, and Sense & Sensibility. Now I have to wait a week before I get to watch them. *pouts* *laughs*
Also while shopping I got Mum a Dean Koontz book…the sequal to one she’s already read (then again, there isn’t many she hasn’t read). Seriously thought about picking up myself a non-falling apart copy of The Bad Place…That is such a warp and twisted book…tis wonderful. *laughs* I did pick up two book for myself though. Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet. They are produced by SparkNotes, and have the complete text of the Shakespeare play on one page, then a plain English line-by-line translation on the opposite page. Okay yeah, so it’s probably a bit like cheating…but I’m not just going and reading the ‘plain English’ side. I’m using that as a resort to sort out some of the details from the orginal text.
I have actually already read the first Act of Hamlet already. (And despite having to sneak a peek at the ‘plain English’ side on occasion) I am quite enjoying it.
On a note that combines Hamlet and my dvd list…I had already wanted to get it anyway, but after reading the quotes from it on IMDb…I want to get Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead. The quotes a hillarious! At least I think so…I mean I was laughing just reading them, I can’t imagine how funny they’d be between the actors, exspecially with how I imagine Rosencrantz’s lines being delievered.
Oh well…after the holiday, after the Jeep, once things are caught up once more.
Which reminds me…Mum pretty much said she’s going to get me that ’emerald’/’diamond’ silver ring I mentioned last entry for me for my birthday. *grins* Mum never knows what to get me usually…or she has ideas, but with working third shift, she hardly gets out to do any shopping (hence why I ordered my Severus wand for my Christmas present from her last year, and picked up my boots the year before). Though hopefully soon she won’t have to worry about it, as she should be getting called back to the other shop. (They are even talking about hiring people off the street…something that the shop hasn’t done in over 20 years!)
Walking shall resume this coming week. I could probably use it. Get me out of the house, get some fresh air, and all that good stuff. So Tuesday, if all goes well, and the weather and temp. hold out, I’ll be wandering the streets of Boyne with Libby. (Who, while I was on the phone tonight, informed me that the psycho ex-little brother wants to walk with us! He’s lost his bloody mind…Not that I didn’t already know that…but Gods, I mean really. *rolls eyes* One of these days I should type up the letters he wrote me, and you can all see just how off he really is.)
Ug…my rubberbands have been being rubberbandy the last couple days. *laughs* Just feeling really tight when they’re in. I suppose that means the teeth are moving. My inner brackets are thinking about being troublesome again.
*brain has been thrown completely off track due to the insanity of a convo involving the phone and messenger* *falls over laughing* *hugs Raya*
ha. cool stuff you got …

Hamlet is my favorite Shakespearian play. I read Romeo & Juliet and Ceasar, as well. Including many of his sonnets. I love Shakespeare. Yay for pretty rings for birthday! And for DVDs! I want to watch Batman Begins, too. I’ve seen all the Batmans thus far. Yet I know why you want to see it. *smirks* *laughs* *pokes a psycho ex-brother* ~

Well, I do hope that the Jeep muffler gets remedied soon, that must be a pain. And…yay! for movies. You got the version of Sense & Sensibility with Alan (or is that a stupid question?)–he’s so sexy in that. Anyway! Yay for new books as well. Don’t feel too overwhelmed by Sakespeare, even English majors get confused by that stuff, but it is fun to read if you can figure out what the hell he…

ia saying. lol. I need to go walking. That sounds fun. Damn the city! There’s nowhere good to walk. I guess I’ll drive to the cemetery to take a walk. *rolls eyes* Whatever! Anyway! Have a good day! *hugs*

Ooh, Dean Koontz! Which book? My favorite is False Memory, which is extremely warped and twisted and if it’s ever made into a movie, they had damn well better cast Alan as Mark Ahriman or else… *loads bazooka* ~

I like the Muppets too. They’re cool. I love Ren and Stimpy. They crack me up lol. 🙂

fist of all SCORE! On getting ‘close my eyes’ on sale!!! Those are some NIFTY dvds/books you purchased!!! I think it is easier either TOTALLY EXPLAINING EXACTLY what you want or just buying the damn thing yourself!!! You’ll have to give us reviews on what you thought of the dvds!!! ROCK ON for getting Sparknotes! It’s always great to have that lil extra ‘help’ in case you need it!
