A bunch of stuff smooshed together.
Well…Had today off. Didn’t quite get all I wanted done, but I got some of it…And that is something at least.
Got some writing done, and that was probably the highlight.
The words were flowing, and in most instances coming easily…Had a few rough spots (like the end of Raven’s entry), but got past them without too much trouble.
& it was much funs to get the chance to write some more with Raya…Schedules don’t offer as many opportunities as there once were.
Reading the Gryffy’s entry I am reminded that NoJoMo is coming up. I’m sure I can manage something that is the equivalent, if nothing else, of a pitiful little entry each day. I think I have for the last 2 or 3 years…I could check, but that would be too much like work at this point.
What I really want to do it NaNoWriMo again. I loved doing it the first time…But that was before school. 5 years ago now? I think this is my 4th year in college anyway…I don’t know, time seems to just smoosh all together.
The Gryffy also mentioned DePhoMo…Which seems interesting as well.
Also, while I was looking at the NaNoWriMo, I came across Script Frenzy. Which is in April (Which will fall in the hellish semester, that I will explain in a moment)…For it, in the month of April, you take that 30 days to write a 100 page script.
And that brings us to next semester…I looked it up to see what I was looking at. UG. O.o
I will be back to four classes, the second part of this semester’s Math class, the second part to this semester’s English class, World Lit, and Storytelling (which is part of the Creative Theme at Grand Valley). Two of them are NMC classes (Math & World Lit), the other two (English & Storytelling) are Grand Valley classes.
Math is going to be same days, same time as it is this semester, which means: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 1-2:30.
English is going to be the same day and the same time as this semester, which means: Monday 3-5:50.
Add to that…Story telling will be Wednesdays, 3-5:50 (so two late-ish nights).
And World Lit. Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1-2:30.
I think that the teacher for World Lit. is the same one I had a bit back for a couple philosophy classes. Math is, of course, going to be the same teacher, as it’s a part two. && English & Story telling are both taught by the same professor, the same one I have for English currently…Whose grading worries me. Which…leads to the next bit.
I turned in my 2nd English paper yesterday. I haven’t a clue what to expect. I’m not going to get my hopes up…Tho I’m hoping that since he’s acknowledge that we weren’t actually ready going into this paper, that he’ll take that into consideration. We are a guinea pig class…& he assumed that we should have a certain degree of knowledge, that apparently, our prior professors are not providing us with.
So…I guess…I wait & see, come Monday I will know.
I don’t know what grades most of the class got on our last papers…I know the one girl who sits next to me got a C, and she’s one of these really studious student kind of people. I know another one of them got a C, & I think it was the one that’s had this teacher before, so she should have a bit better of an idea of what he’s looking for. *huggles my B* I’m quite pleased with my B.
One of the other girls in class has already said she’s not taking the second part next semester, because she can’t handle it. Granted, I can’t pretend to know what her work load is like, and we’ve only had two papers due, and we’ve only got two more to go…Granted the next one is 6 pages long, but it’s not due until December. And there is no final in this class (I love no finals…Instead we get a movie, and pizza!).
And yes, I’m worried about my course load next semester, but I also know that Grand Valley only offers it’s classes at certain times. If she doesn’t take the second part of this English class, & doesn’t change her major, she’s going to have to wait for another year before she can take the class.
Well…Me thinks that is it for the moment. I should think about sleep soon…Luckily class isn’t until 1.
It must be some intence class if some girl is not taking teh second part. *crosses fings that you get a good grade on your 2ed paper* I did the NoJoMo thingy once. I tried last year but didn’t work. Wow it’s been that long since you did NaNoWriMo! I remember when you did it too. It would be cool if you could do it again but school & family come first right?

I have classes like that.. that are only offered odd years during the fall…’ etc etc. Weird things, but eh. :/ I might be in a class this spring too. :/ blaaah. Good luck though! And I like no finals too! Pizza and a movie sounds like a fantastic final. 😀

Yay for days off! *is off today* 🙂 I am not even going to say whether or not I’ll do NoJoMo, because I have yet to accomplish either that or NaNoWriMo. *shakes head* *huggles* Poor, poor Sissy & her schedule next semester. You can do it, though. *nods* Much lucks on your paper!!! I thought it was very well written. *nods* 🙂

I know I will fail miserably at NoJoMo and NaNoWriMo so I don’t try. I want a storytelling class!!
