where should I start??
I don’t even know where to begin. I guess I’ll just start with what’s going on in my life.
The cancer is gone!! I have had a clean mammogram in December. In March I had surgery to remove my "spare parts that I’m no longer using" It was laproscopic and the recovery was quick. I was worried in the back of my mind that the doctor would find cancer (fallopian tubes and ovaries) It was good for me psychologically to get them out.
I have to say one of the most challenging things about my recovery was returning to work. I had 6 months off for medical leave and I didn’t know how it was going to be. One of my co-workers is cruel and heartless and was saying really bad, mean things about me while I was gone. I also didn’t know how I would handle it emotionally and physically.
After a few months adjusting things are going quite alot better. It was a huge challenge.
Recently I went to CNA school and I am hoping to find another job in a different area of the hospital. I really need to work with patients. My job as a pharmacy tech. is very challenging and stressful. I have sufferred a little bit of "chemo brain" and have made a few errors with medications. I really need to find a different job as a nursing assistant. They work 3 12 hour shifts and that will be much more managable than 7 10 hour shifts.
Well, I will go for now. It’s a beautiful sunny day and I need to get doing stuff. I have to work 5 nights in a row then I will get 10 off because we are going on vacation to see my parent’s.
Take care,
Susan
so glad to hear that you are well!

Hi Susan! Welcome back! You were gone from OD a long time. That’s great news about you being cancer free! That woman who was talking behind your back is just making herself look bad! Whatever she said, it’s not personal. It’s about her and her own issues. Let it roll off your back. Obviously you are very well loved!
