I want to write….

… but I sit here and nothing comes to my mind at all. Maybe some random thoughts…
 

• I’ll be 50 in 60 days… or however  many days there are between now and June 22.
• My brother died at 48 … this coming Sunday (26th) will be 10 years ago.
• Last week (17th) I would have been married 28 years.
• I was divorced 5 years on March 10th.
• I’ve had my new motorcycle almost a year (May 9th) and it has a little over 12,000 miles on it I think.
• I’ve had my new truck since November 13, 2007
• I keep my home phone forwarded to  my cell phone 24/7/365.
• i sometimes don’t answer the phone just because I don’t want to.. it’s why i have voice mail.
• My cell phone is a Blackberery Curve and I have to say it’s the most useful one I have ever owned because:
  • It has a calendar that is easy to use an syncronizes with my home desktop.
  • I can receive and send emails from any email account I have.. work, home, yahoo, etc….
  • i can access the internet any where i have phone service. I use this a lot for stock market updates.
• I think cell phones, remote controls and the ability to pause and playback movies/tv have spoiled us all to the point that some folks have  not leared the virtue of patience.
• I believe… good things come to he who sits and waits…. but sometimes we fail to recongnize it was/is a good thing until it’s too late.
• Yesterday I:
  •  put ant bait on several fire-ant beds in my yard.
  • Took my brother and his lawn mower to town so it could be repaired.
  • Rode my bicycle down through the woods and wished….. all sorts of things.
  • cooked spagetti
  • filled my bird feeders
  • Visited Mama & other brother
  • Watched a documentary on Netflix – "Born into Brothels" – about kids born in brothels in Calcutta India who were exposed to the wonders of  photography.
  • Traded some stocks
  • other stuff…
• Today I :
  • Traded some stocks.
  • Slept late
  • Housework
  • Rode bicycle some more…
  • other stuff
• Tomorrow I will… go to work at the same job I’ve had since October 16, 1981.
• I wish I could:
  • Sing
  • Travel to every state in the continental US this summer.
  • Be outgoing and never  meet a stranger like some folks.
  • Sing — i know i already said that but It’s kind of a big wish
  • Play the piano.
  • Understand why……..
