For Her
 
I wish I could tell you
Just what you mean to me
I wish that I could show you
Just what it is I see
 
I hear your voice, imagine your smile
Your presence is sorely missed
Feelings deep inside my heart
Are much too great to resist
 
I sit with you, hold your hand
My world seems so much better
If I could only write my feelings
It would make a great love letter
 
As much as I would dearly love
To explain my heart in rhyme
Perhaps it’s best for me to show
True feelings in their due time.
