most of you know i am sure that i work for td bank….this article describes my shitty week….aoh and not to mention that i am very sick with a nasty head cold that is now settling in my chest. lovely.

TD Bank says it will reimburse fees after computer debacle

CHERRY HILL — TD Bank said it will reimburse customers who incur fees because of computer problems that have delayed transaction postings all week.

The bank, based here and Portland, Me., said the problem came about as it tries to integrate the computer systems of the old TD Banknorth and New Jersey-based Commerce Bank.

The problem means direct deposits are not showing up immediately — and that could cause some people to be short of funds.

On the bank’s website, it said it will not charge customers any fees because of the problem and that it will reimburse them for fees charged by other banks.

Toronto-based TD Bank Financial Group, TD Bank’s parent company, bought New Jersey-based Commerce Bancorp for $8.5 billion last year.
