ramblings

i had a nice day off. to bad they go so fast. i went out with my sister for a while.her office is having the ugliest sweater contest as part of their christmas party. we hit up a few consignment shops looking for something ugly and cheap. it wasnt happening though. i saw a lot of nice clothes in the shops but i wasnt shopping for myself. there was a lot of high end clothes. i can see why consignment shops are so big right now with the shitty economy. when i came home i baked some cookies. wasnt so pleased with how they came out. even though i kept the dough in the fridge they just seemed to spread and flatten out. was not happy at all. i do know that matt will eat them anyway. he doesnt ever seem to complain much whenever i bake. he likes having baked goods in the house. and i also cleaned up the house a bit and did some laundry. mostly cleaned up the bathrooms and the kitchen. matt cleaned the living room up the other night. all my bedroom ever seems to need is a light dusting and the bedding washed. i think after the first of the year i will do another big cleaning and move all of my furniture and vaccuum under everything. havent done that since september. i’m sure the house will neeed it.

getting closer to christmas. i get paid on friday and i also get my christmas bonus which will be nice. and i will also have 16 hours of overtime on this check so i will have more then enough money left over after some bills are paid. yay. having money left over is always a good thing.

right now i am sitting in front of the tv watching ghost intervention on tlc. i’m not to sure what to make of it. i love anything paranormal. i still think the house i grew up in was haunted. used to see and hear some odd stuff especially during a thunderstorm. and as old as that house was it wouldnt suprise me if it really was classified as haunted.

i’m working tomorrow and then i am going to matts parents for dinner. his mom had a colonoscopy a week or so ago and they found a polyup on her bowels and they think they found a tumor on her small intestine. shes going to be going for further testing monday and tuesday down in dover and she will have to have surgery. we are all a little concerned and hoping that things will turn out ok. she called matt at 6 pm yesterday and he knew there was something worng. everyone knows better then to call matt during dinner service especially on a friday night. hes all worried and his boss gave him some extra time off next week incase his parents need him.i’m hoping to find out more when i get there tomorrow night.
