laid off

no i wasnt laid off. matt was. what a wonderful start to the new year.

i’m not looking for pity or sympathy. matt and i went through this with me last year and we survived that. we are fairly certain that we will be ok. his unemployment will be about $200 less then what he was making so its not such a bad cut. i think we will be ok. at least he has health insurance since i am the primary.

hes a bit upset about it since he never even saw it coming. they just told him that he wasnt doing his job which is crap. they said there was a small chance that he could be rehired at the end of the month but matt and i are both fairly certain it wont happen.

i’m gonna put on a happy face and enjoy my weekend with matt despite what happened. then when i go back to work next week then i will work my ass off.
