car shopping

Matt and i will be starting that again. old bessie…aka ugly car (pontiac aztec…google it…its hideous) is starting to die. its a 2004 with amost 130,000. matts the original owner. she needs about $5,000 worth of work. new tires, front end work, heating systems needs help, not to mention a wire short that causes it to not start more often these days….sad that matt runs around with a battery charger, jumper box, and a portable air compresser.

Matts dad is going to get us about $5,000 for a down payment on another car….we will be going to the nissan dealer right by us to look at the nissan rogue and test drive it…matts also looking at a jeep patriot. I told him it has to be something i will be comfortable with driving as well.

be a few weeks before we can buy a car as we have to wait to get the money……and we will file our taxes as soon as we get paid friday. not getting a much as we hoped but we will get back around $7000. at least we can take care of the furnace……matt and i may splurge a bit on one to two items but that will probably be it.
