A goal

Hello! *wave*

I’m making it my goal this week to write in my journal every day. Yup. That’s the plan.

Updateyness: All is… ok. In my world. My father was doing slightly better but as soon as that thought even comes into my head he backslides into another of his nasty times. He’s been out of work for over a month because of back problems. I have this nasty, sinking suspicion that before too long he will end up on disability and my father will be at home 24 hours a day, every day. Though this is good for Julia (i.e. – school pickup every day especially since she’s going to be getting out of band soon!) it is bad for “the family” as he will drive me fucking insane. I remember one of my Mom’s biggest worries was that one day he would either be an invalid or that he would end up on disability and stay at home all day every day. This is not a good thing for my father. He needs the structure of a job because it gives him a timetable. Without it he starts drinking at 9 a.m. Yes, you read that right. NINE a.m. When I got home from work on Saturday at 2:30 he was already so drunk he could barely hold his head up. It was ridiculous. Then he got into a pissy mood and I had to leave the room or risk smashing a pomegranate into his face or something.

On the bright side – I was supposed to work the concession stand at Julia’s football game Friday night but they forgot my name again – YAY! So Adam and I came over to North Augusta and scarfed down some chinese and then back to Edgefield to pick Julia up from the game. Saturday night was a family night with my sister Teresa, her boyfriend, his brother, Adam, and his son, Julia and I all sitting around watching RV which I didn’t expect to like but did. Yesterday Julia and I watched The Lake House – I thoroughly enjoyed that – and The Pacifier – another movie I was expecting to hate but did not. I think it was Lauren Graham. I just can’t hate anything she’s in.

Speaking of:

She is just GORGEOUS. Gah. She is the “ultimate” beauty in my eyes. If I could look like anyone else I would look like her.

Of course I’m getting to the point where I like myself. It is very strange. I never expected that. I owe it all to Adam though. He makes me feel beautiful. For the first time in my life.

By the by – my new favorite show for this season? Heroes. EXCELLENT show. Like watching a mini-movie every week. You can still catch up. Tonight is episode 3. Great show.

Loved the first episode of LOST and Prison Break is still kicking so much ass it’s not even funny. Ah, television – my escape from reality.

Wellllll, I should go now. Not much of an update but here it is. 🙂 I hope you all had wonderful weekends and may you have a fantastic week!

*hugs all around*

Much love!
