It’s been one heck of a busy week.  I ended up working on Tuesday so I didn’t have to go into work today and I thought it would be a nice relaxing day. Nope.  I was out this morning doing last minute Christmas shopping.  Man, oh man, the lines, the people, the specials.  It’s hard not to want to buy something for yourself. I sure did buy me something!! A couple of somethings.  A lot of somethings.  . . .*le sigh*. . .tis life, no?

I’m leaving out of town tomorrow and I’m still not packed.  Grr, but I will be.

I thought I’d share something really quick, a couple of weeks ago, a Yahoo! editor contacted me in regards to my photos on Flickr that I took earlier this year of the immigration marches here in Dallas.

I was interviewed by phone and told that I would be contacted at a later date with more information.

Well, they contacted me today!!

Can I just say, wow.  Whoa.  I’m on a yahoo interactive photo show.  Hundreds will see my big fat face across. . .the world.  Wow. Please excuse the really high pitched voice. Wow, do I really sound like that.  I apologize to everyone that has to hear me.  Did you hear my horrible grammar.  I know, it’s no surprise to many of you, but damn, I suck at interviews. Good thing I’m not famous, I’d be competing with Britney Spears on http://www.idontlikeyouinthatway.com/ for top spot.  LOL

Ah, my (what was it?) 5 seconds of fame.  And for everyone who is wondering, no I didn’t get paid.  LOL, everyone has been asking me that!

Oh, and no. . no autographs. . sorry! LOL ahahaha, yeah right.

I will be out of town, it’s up in the air for how long.  Maybe a week, maybe longer, maybe not.  So if you don’t hear from me, you know why.
