So remember how I said we were going home to attend our friends wedding celebration…well we didn’t go because it was super expensive. When I told my mom she said she had her heart set on seeing us and then she called to tell me she bought a ticket to come see us! So, even though we were sad to not be able to celebrate our friends I was SO HAPPY to see my momma!! She flew into Charleston so I also go to go to the beach for a bit. 🥰

We gardened while she was here and I showed her around, we took her to a drive through zoo which was awesome! A giraffe stuck it’s whole head in our car through the sun roof and it let me pet its head and we fed it. 🥰🥰🥰 So fun. She also saw my place of work. We hung out at home and watched movies every night. She also killed cockroaches for me every time I screamed. She’s not afraid of them like I am, I save her from frogs and lizards because she doesn’t like those but I do. 🥹 I cried when I dropped her off at the airport because I was so sad to see her go again. George missed her so much he immediately ditched Dave and slept with her every night she was here, Dave and I were surprised because Dave’s like HIS person. I could tell he is sad she went home because he lays his head on her pillow then we fight for her pillow because I did the same for two days. So now we’re back to our daily phone calls. She will be back hopefully in December for the holidays. ❤️

A young boy came knocking today looking for work. Dave had him pick up all the leaves in the backyard. He is a nice kid, we asked him to come back this weekend. 😀

My mom helped me pot a bunch of plants while she was here, they look so pretty. I will be planting calla Lily’s and roses. I want herbs though, more of em I have a few already. Im saving half of my earnings to fly home late July, this time for real im going!

I’ve lost weight since we moved into our new home. I went down 4 sizes and I wasn’t even trying. My mom noticed and she told me I can’t just be sad the whole time I’m here. But I def gained a little something back while my mom was here! All the good Mexican food I love and am used to!!! Dave ate a lot too, he loves her chilaquiles and enchiladas and flautas. Mmmmm 😌

My mother-in-law and Rich are next to visit us!! I love family visits dude!! I’ll cry when they go home too. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Work has been alright, I try not to stress so much and just go with the flow.

I have home projects but no umph to do em. I have a big beautiful jacuzzi spa tub in the big bathroom and I’ve never used it. I have decoration ideas that I just keep putting off. We haven’t even painted. I suck at decorating so I’m just like eeeehh it looks way better this way lol I love the front of our house. The drive through driveway plus the regular drive way is my favorite thing about this house next is the porch. I love big porches SO much. I have a bistro table and chairs there and pretty flowers and herbs. I’m looking into the cost for a porch railing with a door so the dogs wan be there outside without worrying about them running away. I also want a storm door! I love having the door open for natural light but it’s so bad here with the mosquitoes and everything getting in the door must remain shut.

I saw a pool at Costco it’s a blow up pool that’s deep enough for us to sit in it also has drink holders built in and a soft pillow thing to sit on. I think it’s an adult blow up pool, I want it!! The backyard is a working progress and the ground is not leveled so I wanted to put it in front. Is that ghetto????? I’d like to know what you think!
