Hey diary

So when we bought the house there was a hole in the back like 50 bricks were missing from the wall right in the center of the wall in the garage, we finally patched it up last weekend or maybe the one before. It was easy and I enjoyed doing it with my husband. The next day we checked it out once it was completely dry and we did a pretty damn good job.

We’re still fixing things here and there so every weekend on our days off we’re working. Last weekend we worked on the yard ALL day. It was HOT! I wore long sleeves because I don’t want to burn. I did forget about my neck and that tan looks ugly! Needless to say I did hop on Amazon to find a nice cool hat to protect my face and it has a long back flap to protect my back and neck. I haven’t ordered it yet because I can’t decide if I want black or tan. Next yard day I’m going to be prepared. I tried to get one for my hub but he said no.

So on Thursday dave and I got home at the same time and that was really nice! That night after we had dinner and got all cleaned up he went and played video games so I decided it was time for relaxing while watching Netflix and doing my nails. I opened up a drawer in the bathroom to get cotton balls and when I shut it I guess I hit a pipe and water started gushing out it flooded the cupboard under the sink and the drawers pretty quickly. I was freaking out and Dave came in to shut it off and it was just spraying water out so he ran outside to shut the water off…but we just moved in so he couldn’t find it. Meanwhile I’m still in the bathroom screaming trying to somehow turn it off or down but nothing it just kept spraying water at a high velocity to my face. It reminded me of an I love Lucy episode lol anyway our day of sleeping in the next day didn’t happen because we woke up so early to get to Lowes so the broken pipe could be repaired. Anyway dave fixed the pipe and everything is running smoothly.

It’s beginning to get warm here in the South and I’m not looking forward to the heat and our AC isn’t working so it’s hot!

My mom had surgery a couple days ago and I couldn’t be there. Everything went well and she’s home and recuperating she said depending on how much time they give her off she may come stay here which is great!!

I’m sleepy now
