Guys…

It is hot in the south this week! Triple digits hot and so so humid! WOW!! Today was super hot and muggy and there was a thunderstorm with pouring rain and lighting. Then people say oh wait till July. I’m like -it gets worse???? Oh my.

My car is just a pain in my butt. It keeps not starting. Dave changed then starter and then the next day it didn’t start when I got off work and I had to wake up my guy to come get me. Sigh then the next day again. 😰 So this weekend he’s changing the alternator. I hope that fixes the problem! I like my car, it’s roomy, it feels nice and solid because it’s heavy, it’s a 6 cylinder and aside from this problem it’s been good to me. So, let’s just hope this works.

Work has been fine. Lots of changes but they seem to be working. My back is beginning to hurt again and that makes me nervous. I do not want to go through what I did last time. I can confidently say hurting my back has been the most painful thing for me.

I am adapting here but not doing well with the bugs. Just tonight I parked and I saw this huge thing crawl up the step and I was down the driveway so it was pretty damn big for me to see it from my car I immediately said to my mom (because I call her everyday on my drive home) oh no there is a huge huge cockroach mooommmmmmm and for a split second I forgot where I was (I was panicked) I said mom can you come please!!! She sighed and laughed a little and said of course I’ll try to get there before night tomorrow. 🫠🫠 I just said ok I’ll wait here (because I use to call my mom for every spider or anything I saw and she would come on over without hesitation) then I said oooh no you can’t come mom! But it was not a cockroach which I was 100% relieved because like I’ve said before -I am so freaking terrified of those!! It was a huntsman spider with its babies on its back and that thing was HUGE. I did not like this predicament but I was like it’s cool I’ll just leap inside, and leap I did! Also, there are so many frogs and toads here! There was a frog on the window and it was really pretty vibrant green with spots. I see em’ daily! Dave likes looking for all the frogs and toads especially after it rains. Right now is after midnight and they are super loud i hear them all night. Back home I heard crickets here it’s frogs. I don’t know what cicadas sound like but I thiiiink im hearing them they are so loud! I need to figure out what they sound like. But im hearing this loud sound outside in the day time. You known what else I see so often here at evening…bats!!! Never saw them back home.
