Another day,

Good evening friends,

Ever since Friday when we signed papers my husband and I have been at our house all day doing some fixing. There was a leak under the sink, and that was first on our agenda, we then changed all the locks on all the doors, and today he put up blinds and fixed some stuff under the house. This week I’m going to go buy the privacy films for the front window and our bedroom bathroom and maybe the big window next to the bathtub so the light still gets in but no one can see inside. I love curtains and my husband prefers blinds. Our decorating taste is so different that I am curious to see what our house actually looks like. I like for him to have as much input as I do because it is our home and we will both be enjoying it, so we shall see. I will be asking momma Debbie and aunt Susie for their opinions on everything so things should be good. 😍 Dave wants to have a queen murphy bed in the spare bedroom so it can also be our office. When family and friends visit we can just pull the bed down…I didn’t like this idea because I just want a spare bedroom but he is right we also need our office so I agreed. Then he measured and it’s just not going to work because his desk is so big. So I suggested a couch that turns into a bed OR a daybed that has another pullout bed. He liked both of those ideas so now I am on the hunt. Back home we left everything at my mom’s house, including our comfy bed. I LOVE our bed. It is SO comfortable. Everyone is telling us to just get rid of it because I purchased a mattress here from Costco, one of those that come in a box, and it is pretty darn comfy but not as comfortable as our bed back home soooo I’m definitely not giving it up without a little fight lol, ill store the mattress we have now, cover it in a mattress bag and when family and friends come over I’ll bust that baby out but I just can’t give up our bed. I love it. love love love. I will figure it out, I just need to think. How difficult is it to remove tile backsplash and add new stuff there? Also, I want to remove the cubbie in the laundry room so I can have open shelves or just put a small cubbie there and an open shelf underneath it and a pole to hang clothes up when it comes out of the dryer. Hmmm, I also want to paint the floor in the garage so it looks nice and clean and so I can clean it, and also the porch floor. It looks like it had carpet of something and it was torn off, it doesn’t look bad I think only I can tell. I also want to dig up all the dead plants and bushes there are there and line it up with a little brick path so I can plant things that I like. In the front of our house, there is a big tree, it is bare right now but I would like to know what kind of tree it is and what kind of flower it will bring us so I can redo the brick circle around it and clean it up to plant flowers there. The backyard is a mess, that is a whole other hurdle. It’s not grass it just looks like weeds everywhere. Dave and I are having fun fixing up the house the way we want it. We ordered our fridge, it should be delivered next week. Next is our stove and couches.

Tomorrow is the start of a new week and I will be working until Sunday. That will be my only day off and I already cannot wait for it to get here. I need some comfy non-slip shoes for work that aren’t super ugly…work is so busy, and I’m so short staffed that I am always running and I slipped and fell hard and it hurt, my body didn’t recover for like over a week then I thought about when I was in cheer all those years and all the falls I had that never phased me and they were bad falls lol but anyway so I decided that I need non-slip shoes.

I hate when I run out of things, for some reason I run out of everything at the same time which makes it worse because you need to replace everything at the same time. This week I ran out of makeup, powder, setting spray, day and night eye cream, face wash, daytime face lotion, nighttime oil and face lotion, eyebrow serum, my face masks…well just everything. I told Dave and he said uh oh… and I said yes, indeed. It pains my heart but I need all of it. Thankfully my husband just said well order it up, baby! 🙂

Ok, I have a project for work that I have been procrastinating on all weekend. I need to get to it.
