A stress-free Saturday

So, I woke up at 11 today. ELEVEN! And the only reason I woke up is because my husband came into the bedroom to bring our laundry downstairs otherwise I probably would have kept sleeping. Daaaaang I must have been tired! Today was a nice and easy day, had our coffee, shared a bagel, did laundry, played outback with George, and we tried doing instacart together. Instacart isn’t hard and I like walking around the grocery store so I liked it. We decided to do it because we really need to make some money. We would probably make a little more money if we went separately but we like spending time together and doing everything together. After 12+ years together we still love doing everything together. It makes me happy and I also get confused when I hear couples say “oh man I need a break from my husband/wife” because I’ve never felt that way. He feels the same because there have been many times when he was excited to go out with his friends but I was feeling cozy or wasn’t feeling like going out so I’ll be like “go ahead and go hunny have fun” and he’ll choose to stay home with me instead, so then I’ll go ahead and get dressed and suck it up lol but anyway, I love us,

So, my husband calls me his mexican popsicle because I’m always cold my hands are always ice cold and he and I don’t usually do Christmas gifts because one – we get stuff for each other all year and two we just like to celebrate Christmas by spending time together and with family. Spending time with our friends and family is more of a gift for us than gifts, but for Christmas he got me a cute pair of gloves and I wear them everyday lol now my hands are warm. 🥰

We are both off tomorrow, our last day before the work week and I’m not ready for the week to begin…sigh. I have a big spa bath tub here that I haven’t used since we moved in soooo tonight I think I’m going to break that baby in! I got bath salts and cbd bath bubbles. 👏🏼 All I need to buy now is one of those fancy bath trays and candles. ❤️❤️❤️
