gettin’ goin … with everything!
I have plenty to write about but this question just popped into my head randomly.
Has anyone ever thought about or attempted to transfer all their written diaries/journals/work to the computer, whether it be word, some other word type of program, or some website? and how about vice versa? Has anyone thought about transferring, say, all of their online entries into a journal? I always figured doing this on here was easier just because it was convenient. I would definitely choose writing over typing, but typing is so much faster, and I’m on the computer a lot already anyways…and it may be nice to have a copy on the internet, whether it be completely private, or just on the computer maybe saved on an external hard drive guarded by password. I’ve had this thought before, and thought if I had nothing too important to do with my time, I might attempt it…going both ways, crazily enough. So has anyone else ever attempted or thought of it? Or am I just crazy?
Anywho, in the last couple days I’ve been gettin’ goin’ in most of my aspects of life really. I worked the weekend and made some decent money. Yesterday I went running for the first time in at least a month or so. I don’t know if you could call what I did running…Justin always makes fun of me saying I don’t run…I suck at running and don’t go very fast! But anyways, I have the couch to 5k app, and even though the first week was very easy (run 45 sec, walk 1 min, run 45 sec, walk 1:30 min, repeat for 20 minutes with a 5 min warm up and 5 min cool down), I figured I wouldn’t skip it like I have in the past. The app says to only run 3 days a week but I’m going to run 4-5. Since this is the first week, I may keep it to 4. I ran yesterday and today. I have time everyday after class to work out so I’m going to try and do that each day. I started keeping track of what i eat today too. I still have 275 calories I can eat yet if I want to, and I am hungry, but it’s a little late to be eating. I’m just going to drink some water, and maybe grab some carrots or a yogurt, and the calorie intake I’m allowed is to be on track for losing 1.5 lbs a week. I know that it’s not likely that I will, or there won’t be evidence that I will right away, but hopefully in a month it could be evident that I lost 6 pounds, and in 2 months 10 pounds…that’s very reasonable. So I’m gettin goin’ on the health side of things (I also am playing volleyball one night a week… which I did tonight. It’s weird being the worst on the team haha, but I’m still not horrible. I just haven’t played with them before and it’ll get better as we establish some team chemistry)
As for school, I had my first exam in anat and phys today, and I have an assignment due in about 2 hours for my online class. I suppose I should get goin on that. I love how the assignments are "google this" and "click this link and read it". Last time he had us look up about 10 different things, so it was significant but this time he just said "google ‘World Population Bomb, read 4-5 links, and write your essay". It’s both good and annoying at the same time lol
I’m gettin goin on the settling in the apartment too. It was only 2 days ago I realize that I was saying I had so much to do. I got everything cleaned up in the kitchen, for the most part. There are 2 boxes of stuff I have yet to put somewhere. I got to stash away a few other miscellaneous things. I haven’t actually SORTED through my stuff yet, which I want to do shortly but I think I will focus on getting the room tidy and THEN pull out one box at a time, one drawer at a time, and go through it. But so far, the kitchen now only has the cat’s stuff, and the roommates’ stuff aside from a box of dishes and a box of spices. I cleared out a corner and set up another light in the room so it’s not so gloomy (no main lighting in the room). There is random stuff all over the place…clothes and random other shit, but that’s not a big deal. I will tackle some of that tomorrow 🙂
Well I better GET GOIN’ on the homework front. I’m sure if I stay focused after I am done writing this that I will finish it in the allotted time.
Good night!
